A very friendly host—he even let us use his electricity
The stay was great as a starting point for bike tours. Communication was brief but friendly.
We were given a warm welcome, and everything went well. We were parked very close together with two other cars right behind the house; we thought we’d be spread out a bit more across the field. Otherwise, it’s a great area that offers plenty of wonderful options for day trips.
I had a really, really wonderful time at Bernhard's. I was welcomed with such warmth—everything was so easy. I felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. 😊 Thank you so much 🙏

A very nice campsite on a meadow. We received a warm welcome, and there’s a beautiful swimming lake just a 10-minute walk away. The water is so crystal clear! Thank you also for the water for our camper. There are also opportunities for day trips in the surrounding area. A gorge and the Hüttenberg are right nearby. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We received a friendly and informative welcome. On the day of our departure, we were able to stay as long as we wanted, which we thought was great. The campsite on the meadow was very quiet and offered a wonderful view of the mountains. From the dirt road, you can access a bike path directly, which takes you away from the roads to places like the gorge or the Iller Bike Path (though right now you have to detour around a construction site). We swam every day in the small lake with clear water behind the trees at the end of the meadow, and we had delicious meals at the restaurant across from the meadow. It’s not often you find a campsite this quiet yet so close to everything—and with this view, no less. Many thanks to Bernhard!

Friendly host, very nice campsite with a great location and a fantastic view.
We only stayed here for one night because we were just passing through. Bernhard was a very accommodating and friendly host who also gave us a great restaurant recommendation. We had plenty of water on board, but Bernhard kindly offered to let us refill our tanks. The campsite by the stream was really beautiful, and we had plenty of space. Our dogs romped around on the meadow and had a blast. That wouldn’t have been possible at a typical campsite. Despite the thunderstorm and rain, the quiet of the night was a welcome relief, and we found the babbling of the little stream very soothing. Thank you, Bernhard, for this lovely spot 😍

Great place with a great view. Many possibilities for activities in the surrounding area. The lake is also perfect :) Communication with Bernhard was smooth and uncomplicated. We were offered water and electricity. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back!

Great pitch on a spacious meadow with a sensational view of the mountains. We were on the meadow with another guest. A wooden hut separated the two campers so that everyone had their privacy. Communication with Bernhard was also problem-free. Thank you! ☀️

We camped at Bernhards with our dog for 2 nights. It was a great location. It was so peaceful and beautiful there. We met Bernhard on the 1st night and he was really helpful. We will be staying there again.

Great location with lovely view at walking distance from the railway station. Good place to start your hiking trip. Easy communication before and during our stay with Bernard on the phone. Nearby lake with toilet also found useful.

I take this booking as an opportunity to say goodbye to this type of camping for good! I had booked a meadow between fields and a meadow path! Due to the announced continuous rain over the mentioned period of time, I knew that I would definitely not go to a completely soaked meadow, from which I would probably not get out! But I also don't want to be stuck somewhere for 20 euros per night! I have asked to be accommodating and cancel, but am now stuck with 80 euros as I had booked two places (birthday present for a friend)! I have no problem with chargeable cancelations at CPs or hotels/hostels! Here, accommodation and staff are paid for, the booked room is blocked etc.! ! But if people only want to "enrich" themselves by making space available that they have anyway and otherwise providing zero service to campers, then that's not my "camper world"! This has nothing to do explicitly with this pitch! These are hinterland's cancellation rules! Everything on a goodwill basis! Nowadays, goodwill unfortunately means paying anyway!
