  Spending part of our vacation this year with Mike and his wife was a truly wonderful experience. Not only did we have very pleasant conversations, but they were also exceptionally kind and accommodating in every way. We camped at Mike’s place for a week and took home unforgettable memories. A highly recommended host and a beautiful setting. The reservoir is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are many different ways to explore it. The town of Weida also has some lovely surprises in store. Many thanks to Mike and Nancy.

  A lovely campsite, and everything was just as described. We were surprised to find that it’s actually less than a 5-minute walk to the Auma Dam, and diagonally across from the campsite is a large meadow where our dog could run around freely. Mike is a very friendly host who truly cares about making guests feel at home, and that’s exactly how it was. Thank you for everything, and we’d love to come back.

  Road construction measures have made access impossible. Mike informed us about this in good time. We would have loved to stay with him. As the cancellation deadline had already expired, Mike transferred the amount to us. Very fair and courteous. If we can manage it, we will visit him another time.
