Great campsite. Friendly host. We'd love to come back.
A lovely campsite, and everything was just as described. We were surprised to find that it’s actually less than a 5-minute walk to the Auma Dam, and diagonally across from the campsite is a large meadow where our dog could run around freely. Mike is a very friendly host who truly cares about making guests feel at home, and that’s exactly how it was. Thank you for everything, and we’d love to come back.
Road construction measures have made access impossible. Mike informed us about this in good time. We would have loved to stay with him. As the cancellation deadline had already expired, Mike transferred the amount to us. Very fair and courteous. If we can manage it, we will visit him another time.
Very idyllic place with very nice and friendly hosts. Everything within walking distance and top restaurants in the village. If we are in the area we would love to come back.
We spent two nights very well on the site, my dog and I... It was easy to get water at any time, and we were also allowed to leave our garbage behind.

Very hospitable and helpful host. We stood in the garden on the very well maintained and large property. Quiet and clean. Generous driveway. On recommendation we made a short hike around the Aumatalsperre and were thrilled by the beautiful Thuringian surroundings. Highly recommended. We will be happy to come back. Jochen.
