The farmer's meadow at the Logabirum forest

The site, shaded by old trees, is located on a gravel road on our spacious private property with house. On one side you find space between rhododendrons with a view into the forest, on the other side you sit down in the middle of our nature garden to watch our free-range chickens hunting for insects for their chicks, which romp around the colorful wildflowers. Frogs perch by the pond and squirrels and deer are regular visitors between fruit trees and the large old corkscrew hazelnut tree. During the day, buzzards, goshawks, storks and herons can be seen in the sky, replaced at night by owls and bats.

With a walk through the forest, past horse farms, grain fields, cattle pastures and free-range piglet breeding, you can reach the Logabirum mill near which there are bakers, organic food stores and supermarkets. East Frisian tea, homemade bread & baguette, freshly harvested fruit & vegetables and of course eggs from our chickens you get directly with us.

The old town and the harbor of Leer can be reached in 20 minutes by bus or bike.

Attention! Due to the location directly at the forest, the access is only possible for vehicles up to 3.30m height, 2.80m width, 7.00m length and 15m turning circle! Due to free-range chickens and chicks, the stay of pets (even leashed) on our property is unfortunately not possible.
