Hello. We offer a pitch on our idyllically located Galloway farm under an oak tree over 100 years old.
The recreation area Pröbstingsee is 4 kilometers away and invites you to go for a walk, fishing, pedal boating, climbing forest visit, swimming at the bathing lake or linger at the boathouse (restaurant, café).
The city of Borken is 3 kilometers away and offers many shopping opportunities and restaurants, as well as a swimming pool with sauna area.
The castle Raesfeld is 6 kilometers away and the adjacent zoo is perfect for nice walks along ponds. The adjacent restaurants and cafes invite you to linger.
For families with children, the Kettelerhof and the Frankenhof in Reken offer a lot of fun and games for young and old.

We were there with our RV. If you’re looking for a break, this is the perfect place. We had a lovely, peaceful weekend on a spacious meadow, with a view of some beautiful Belties (Belted Galloway cattle). The farm is very well-maintained. You can definitely hear the nearby country road, but it didn’t bother us. Water and electricity (bring a cable reel or a long extension cord) were available to us, and Daniel was always available to help. The dog greeted us curiously, and we were also happy about the quick visit from the two kids. The only thing we couldn’t spot were the Welsh sheep. We’d also like to note that, as O2 users, we had no cell service—a digital detox is definitely guaranteed here. 😄 We took a day trip to the Netherlands from here and found this campsite to be the ideal starting point for it.
We were given a warm welcome and had a very nice campsite with a view of the Galloway cattle.
We had a great time! A super-friendly host, a great campsite, and a lovely area! The only thing was that we could hear the highway, but it didn't really bother us—it was still very quiet, especially at night.
A very idyllic campsite. We really enjoyed it. If we're ever back in Borken, we'd love to stay here again.
