HeikoIn the middle of the Black Forest, 3 kilometers outside the village of Schönwald, you will find a dreamlike spot at an altitude of 1070m. It offers unique nature experiences at any time of year. In winter, the snow-covered landscape invites you to go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, while in summer you can enjoy the breathtaking nature on hikes. The scent of fresh mountain air and the freedom to move around in nature make Schönwald a special place.
The forest and meadows offer a variety of flora and fauna to discover and, with a bit of luck, you might even come across a fox or hare.

Water is drawn from our own spring, but is not declared as drinking water! Only available until the end of September. There is a well about 1 km away from the pitch from which you can draw fresh spring water!

Barbecue allowed
I will be happy to provide you with a barbecue tray for grilling and making a fire. You can get a basket with wood and kindling for 10,- from me.

Bus stops are approx. 5 minutes away from the pitch

Arrival possible from 2 pm, departure until 12 noon! Other arrival/departure times are also possible by arrangement. Furthermore I have to charge 2,50 € visitor's tax per night / person. Settlement takes place on site!

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide garbage cans. We therefore ask you to dispose of / take away your garbage yourself. Please treat nature with respect - the iron rule applies among outdoor learners - always leave the site clean and, if necessary, cleaner than you find it

Enjoy a refreshing dip in our natural outdoor pool in Schönwald. The natural plant filter ensures clear, turquoise-blue water - without any chemicals! Whether you want to be sporty and active, relaxing and soothing or adventurous and have lots of fun - the natural oasis in the Upper Black Forest is just right for every type of stay.
MTB
Mount up and take off. Whether you are a leisure cyclist or an ambitious biker, with an e-bike or mountain bike - the Black Forest offers the right tours and spots for everyone, with signposted mountain bike trails leading you through the forests and landscapes in and around Schönwald.
Watching wildlife
Winter sports
Fantastic winter landscapes and clear air. More than 40 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, 45 kilometers of groomed winter hiking trails and two ski lifts await you in our winter paradise at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Discover the variety and enjoy special winter moments with a unique relaxation factor in the Black Forest: the slopes are freshly groomed, the skis are strapped on and off you go. Our family-friendly Dobel ski lift in Schönwald is one of the most snow-sure T-bar lifts in the region. The Rössle ski lift in the idyllic Weißenbachtal valley is a little more challenging. Try it out for yourself.
