Here there is pure deceleration. Here with us in the forest you can relax or explore the surroundings on land and over water.
Here you will find the smallest city in Germany or the cultural heritage Haithabu and Dannewerk. You can reach the North Sea or the Baltic Sea within half or three quarters of an hour. You can also rent a canoe from us.
I can not write everything what you could experience here. The best thing is to stop by and enjoy your vacation.

What a place, right in the heart of nature. My partner and I were able to unwind immediately after parking our camper on the meadow. We were welcomed by wonderful hosts and guests, with whom we sat around the campfire in the evening and made bread on a stick. The river is beautiful and unspoiled, perfect for paddling. Thank you so much, Knud, to you and your wife—we’ll be back.
Knud is a really great and super nice host! We enjoyed one night at his place in the countryside with a wonderful long walk in the area and an evening around the campfire.
Knud is a super friendly host, we felt more than welcome with him and Kirsten. They also have a big heart for animals; thank you for rescuing the hedgehogs! The surroundings are fantastic: lots of space and peace, the forest and the meadow right next door, chickens, horses and turtles as direct neighbors. Thank you for the relaxing, wonderful days and the conversations! We would love to come back.
