What a place, right in the heart of nature. My partner and I were able to unwind immediately after parking our camper on the meadow. We were welcomed by wonderful hosts and guests, with whom we sat around the campfire in the evening and made bread on a stick. The river is beautiful and unspoiled, perfect for paddling. Thank you so much, Knud, to you and your wife—we’ll be back.
Knud is a really great and super nice host! We enjoyed one night at his place in the countryside with a wonderful long walk in the area and an evening around the campfire.
Knud is a super friendly host, we felt more than welcome with him and Kirsten. They also have a big heart for animals; thank you for rescuing the hedgehogs! The surroundings are fantastic: lots of space and peace, the forest and the meadow right next door, chickens, horses and turtles as direct neighbors. Thank you for the relaxing, wonderful days and the conversations! We would love to come back.

What a magical place. Right on the edge of the forest, with friendly hosts, chickens, turtles and horses. If you want to switch off, this is more than the right place. We will be back and thank you for the quiet and relaxing days.
Beautiful, very secluded pitch. You stand on a meadow next to chickens, from which you have direct access to the meadow. There is a paddock on the other side of the site. A very beautiful forest at the back. Absolute peace and quiet. Knud was a very friendly host who invited us directly to his campfire for bread and beer. If you are there, be sure to ask to see his self-built pit house. It's mega - not just for Viking fans. Thank you Knud for sharing your beautiful place with others. We'll definitely be back again.
Just thank you! This wonderful peace and nature. The access to the meadow. And the hospitality and helpfulness of Kerstin and Knud. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Even the thunderstorm in the morning was nice.

Knud is a super helpful and friendly host. We booked very spontaneously, but that was no problem as Knud responded very quickly. The surroundings and the site are very nice and quiet. We would absolutely recommend this campsite.
Knud's place gets 10 stars + from us, we will definitely come back. You have everything your heart desires and it is suuuuper idyllic there. I can only recommend everyone to visit this spot. We are already looking forward to staying there again. Best regards Sascha, Anika and Felix

We were able to spend a night on Knud's pitch on our way through and were absolutely thrilled! We received a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The site is wonderfully quiet and secluded, close to the Schlei, so you can enjoy nature to the full. We had a cozy evening by the fireplace, accompanied by the calls of cranes and owls. For us it was a relaxing break in the middle of nature - absolutely recommendable, even if you only stay for a short time!
The contact was uncomplicated and simply pleasant hosts. It really is at the end of the road, dreamy and quiet at the edge of the forest. Not the classic campsite comfort; simple organic toilet. But we were happy to cook by the fire and watch the stars. We also heard an owl chasing an owl through the forest 😅. There are also exciting things to discover in the forest. Always recommended!

The pitch at Knud's was great. The access to the floodplain and the existing jetty were very nice. I was able to set off directly with the SUP and paddle to the Schlei. Knud was very accommodating, everything was as expected. I would love to come back.

Hello dear campers this place is only recommendable in all points that can be described. Who wants to make uncomplicated and quiet vacation is exactly right with these hosts. Great campsite with quiet forest location (even playground for the little ones) and totally helpful hosts. Many thanks to Kerstin & Knud we come again.
