StefanYou are standing on a meadow directly on the Urft with a view of our sheep.
Our historic watermill is conveniently located in the small Eifel village of Sötenich near Kall.
Our meadow is centrally located for you and your camper to start relaxing hikes or cycle tours. The fifth stage of the Eifelsteig trail is in the immediate vicinity.
In the evening, you can relax by the campfire and listen to the sound of the Urft. You can also try our cold drinks at the bar or prepare something delicious on the barbecue.
Your caravan, camper van, caravan, etc. must be self-sufficient. Sanitary facilities are not available. Gray and black water can be disposed of externally nearby for a fee.
Electricity, water, waste disposal, wood, drinks, etc. (partly for a fee) available on site. Groups & tents by prior arrangement only.
Check-in: from 3 p.m.
Check-Out: until 2 pm
UPDATE 10/2024: The railroad line, which was destroyed in the 2021 flood disaster, is currently being renewed. Construction noise (excavator work etc.) may therefore occur. As a rule, there are hardly any or no perceptible impairments. Just let us know if you have any questions.
Excursion possibilities:
- Numerous hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity
- Fly fishing on the Urft
- Shopping in the outlet center Bad Münstereifel
- Kommern open-air museum
- NS Ordensburg Vogelsang
- Urft dam and much more.
We also rent out a vacation apartment for up to 4 people. Tents are also possible by prior arrangement.
How to get there: Attention ⚠️ You cross a railroad crossing which is very bumpy. Don't let the cups fall out of the cupboard! Our pitch is signposted. The entrance from the left is very sharp! Very large motorhomes and long caravans should pull out a long way or, better still, simply turn around and drive in from the other side. Please let me know when you expect to arrive so that we can welcome you. On the day of arrival, it would be nice if you could give us a quick call about 5 minutes before you arrive. Then we can brief you.
