Our "Ab-Hänger" (approx. 20 sqm) is located on our small farm behind the barn, on a meadow that is occasionally visited by our chickens and ducks.
Here, anyone can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy themselves.
Our rooster—and the neighbors’ as well—let us know that the day is about to begin.
Behind it lie a few hectares of pastureland with three large donkeys, goats (and their kids), and Ivan, our billy goat.
The "trailer" is simply and comfortably furnished. On one side there is a double bed (160x200 cm) and on the other side a small, almost fully equipped kitchen with: oven + 2 ceramic burners, sink (NEW: hot water), refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker, and dishes & cutlery.
In between stands “Grandma’s stove” for heating the trailer, making it quite cozy even during the colder months.
A pleasant bathroom is located right next door (approx. 10 m away).
What makes us special:
- Roll and bread service
We offer homemade spelt rolls and sourdough bread.
- Eggs from the chickens that roam the grounds (availability depends on the chickens’ mood).
- Beverages—we can likely help out in the event of a beverage shortage.
- Bread-baking "class" (by arrangement)
We’ve been baking sourdough bread here for many years. We use only organic-quality grains, grind the flour in our own grain mill, and have developed a recipe that can be baked in a standard convection oven and easily integrated into everyday life. At the end of the "class," you’ll receive baking instructions and a loaf of bread you baked yourself. Baking bread can be super easy!
In the village, there’s a husky farm, a horseback riding farm, a playground and sports field next to the village church, and the Kunsterspring Zoo nearby.
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. Or within 48 hours of booking, up to one day before arrival.
