We spent a few lovely days at this campsite. The surroundings are quiet and spacious, and we generally liked the site itself. There are many wind turbines around the campsite. Depending on the wind direction, however, they can be quite audible. Anyone who is particularly sensitive to noise should keep this in mind. We found it a bit of a shame that the lawn hadn’t been mowed during our stay, which made the site look somewhat unkempt overall. We were particularly disappointed that the listing advertised the option to rent ATVs and go on ATV tours. That’s exactly what we’d been looking forward to. However, once we arrived, we were told that this offer was no longer available. It would be helpful if the description were updated accordingly so that guests don’t have false expectations. The listed restroom facilities (toilet and shower) were indeed available and located about 350 meters away. However, getting there proved more difficult than expected, as we had to climb over several fences and walk across horse paddocks. This made access very limited—or practically impossible—especially at night. Here, too, a more detailed description of the actual conditions would be helpful. Overall, however, we had a pleasant stay. With a more up-to-date description, better maintenance of the grounds, and more transparent information about the services offered, the campsite could be significantly improved. We had technical problems with our RV. Ole was able to help us quickly by recommending his neighbor’s repair shop, where our RV was repaired the very next day.
