Hey, we moved from Germany to Denmark and now live here in this beautiful area. We hope to welcome back many old friends from our old farm, the Küstenscheune in Gnissau. It will also be great and exciting to welcome new guests. We look forward to seeing you and hope that you will have a great time with us here on the farm.

We camped here as a family with our dog, and it was fantastic! Ole’s family is incredibly kind, and all the animals are just so cute 😍 We were also lucky enough to have the site all to ourselves—it was truly wonderful. The shower and restroom were also spotless. Huge kudos to them!
We had the pleasure of spending 4 wonderful days with Ole. Super nice, helpful and very friendly. We will be back and are already looking forward to it. Thank you very much
The contact with the German-speaking host(s) is friendly and easy, but you also have a lot of peace and quiet on the somewhat remote and natural pitch. Horses, chickens, rabbits, sheep and goats on the site, really rustic. It's about 10 minutes by bike to the shore of the fjord, from there another 8 km to Søndervig beach. If you have tackle with you: a put&take sø is just around the corner. All in all, we would stay there again at any time 😉
Thank you for this great stay with you! Wonderful in the middle of nature, the wind turbines are hardly disturbing. The sanitary facilities are also clean - the pitch is relatively straight. Not the last time! Kind regards 🐕🐕🙋♀️
A beautiful farm with lots of animals (horses, rabbits, goats, sheep, ducks) You can even go into the enclosure and stroke them Toilet and shower clean, but you have to walk a few hundred meters to get there from the pitches (about 6 of them) BUT there are wind turbines right next to the pitches, which are as loud as if you were on a highway or under a jumbo jet taking off. For campers in a roof tent, sleeping is almost impossible... in a motorhome, the noise could perhaps be somewhat muffled Too bad about this beautiful spot on earth...
We had a great time with Ole and his family. The space for our motorhome was very large and there was enough distance from the other guests. The toilet and shower were very good and the way there via the paddock and past the petting zoo was a highlight. The wind turbines are audible, but they didn't bother us. We would love to come back. 😊
Ole was a very friendly and communicative host. If you are looking for peace and seclusion, the pitch, a meadow, is just right. We didn't mind the walk to the shower and toilet blocks via a paddock and petting enclosure. Other guests may see it differently. The bio-toilet still mentioned no longer exists. For us as cyclists, the site was ideal as a starting point for cycling tours to the fjord and North Sea. Ringkobing is only a few kilometers away. A pretty little harbor town on the fjord invites you to stroll and look around. Ole also runs an ice cream store there and we enjoyed some delicious soft ice cream. Petra and Mario
We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. The path from the petting zoo to the toilet (300m) was varied 😉 we were alone there most of the time and had a lot of peace and quiet (you can no longer hear the wind turbines at some point). We would come again.

What a great place Ole and Jenny have created. We had two absolutely wonderful quiet nights away from everything. We were able to walk the dogs directly from the pitch without meeting anyone and the fjord and beach were not far away either. Thank you for a lovely stay and see you next time.

Friendly family run site with quiet, well-spaced, mown grass pitches located about 200m from farm. Excellent compost loo in the camping field and a powerful hot shower back at farm complex. Wind turbines not so far away but then Jutland has hundreds of them. I wonder why? 🤔😉
The place was very nice and it was very quiet. Ole and his family are very nice. There was also a nice shower and a proper toilet. The animals are very interesting for children. Unfortunately, we would have liked a fireplace near the camper, which was unfortunately only at the house and very far away from the meadow. Despite all this we had a very nice stay. This was our second time here and Ole was, as usual, easy to contact, very friendly and helpful :-) Our friends, who we had in tow and were on their first camping trip, also liked it here very much. The site is an ideal starting point for day trips to the city, the sea or the fjord and offers space for the four-legged friends. I felt very comfortable
Ole and his family are really great people! The location of the pitch was unique, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the proximity of the horses. Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation short due to engine trouble, but we will definitely be back! Best wishes and all the best from the Vorharz region
Very nice and very friendly
Great pitch, super nice hosts. Toilet and WC clean and housed in a sauna barrel (a little tip: take rubber boots with you to be on the safe side, as the path from the campsite leads across paddocks and can be a muddy affair when it rains). There is also an organic toilet at the campsite itself. We liked it very much and will be back. :)
Very nice pitch. Great idea with the dry toilet. All pitches with a view. Hosts were super friendly. The only drawback for us, which we didn't realize beforehand, was that the washing facilities were further away. You either have to go directly across the paddock or around the outside.
Everything went very well, beautiful pitch, smooth communication. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time with Ole and his family. A beautifully situated site, surrounded by fields and meadows. The toilets and also the shower are nicely built into sauna barrels and were very clean. We can highly recommend the site.

Super nice host was available for any questions for activities. The pitch was on a meadow where you could fully enjoy the peace and idyll. Electricity available and the sanitary facilities clean and always available. I will definitely come back again. And the area is a dream.
Super nice hosts, smooth communication. It had been raining heavily when we arrived, so the meadow was still too wet. Ole then offered us a great alternative pitch on his property. Great place for families, super location near the fjord and the sea. Barrel with shower and WC, as described and clean. We would love to come back.
Ole recommended another farm because of an accident on his land, which we would like to do: Nature camping for adventurers on Ringkøbing Fjord https://hinterland.camp/locations/2044 We had a great time and stayed in great surroundings with Einar and Simone (see link). (5 stars)
Ole is the perfect host and the place is perfect for a little break. We absolutely enjoyed the few days over Easter. Many thanks again to Ole and his helpfulness with the tractor (my 4x4 was slightly overwhelmed in a slightly muddy part of the meadow due to the bad weather of the last few days). We really enjoyed being there and will be happy to come again.
Thanks to Ole for this great short trip. Despite a poor journey due to the weather, Ole found a solution so that we could still enjoy our first short trip to Denmark. Ole and his family have created something great there and we wish them many guests in the future and always a dry camping site.

Ole and his family are super friendly and relaxed. It was super individually addressed to our situation, the facility and shower were VERY clean and tidy and when we spontaneously decided to stay for another night went super smooth and uncomplicated. It is a quiet location with plenty of space. The available sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. Ole and his family are friendly and easy going. We will come back again if we end up in Ringkøbing again.
Nice centrally located site between the fjord, North Sea and many attractions. The place is big enough for several guests and their space needs. You can take a shower, make a fire, go to the toilet and let your four-legged friend run around. Last but not least, you are welcomed here completely unbureaucratic and if there is a problem, Ole and his sweetheart is ready to help. The communication also works great. In the 4 days in Denmark we felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back.

Thank you for the wonderful time with a very friendly family! Electricity, water, animals, everything as described available. Farm with flair and great activities in rain as sun with bike and car, also for families with small (lazy) children.

Very nice host family, lots of space for the kids to play, the kids can ride horses, feed animals or ride with the tractor, great location you are in nature but still quickly by bike or car in the city or on the beach, beautiful area with many attractions and beautiful dunes and beaches, were 14 days there and have felt very comfortable.
Ole and his family is super friendly and helpful ,everything very uncomplicated and practical at the farm. A beautiful location !
We liked it very much. The pitch on the meadow was quiet and there was plenty of room for the kids to play. Ole was always responsive and has immediately taken care of if something was.

Very interesting, friendly and helpful German emigrant family. Our daughter was allowed to care for the animals (horses, chickens, rabbits) on the farm with the host children (all so sweet). Ole offers a great shower and toilet in a converted sauna barrel. Really good! We will certainly come back again!!!

A good place to explore the fjord and North Sea from there. Ole is very friendly and helpful.There are 3 power outlets-no issue for us-when the weather was great we used the power from the boat's own solar panels. LG

Very nice hosts, fair prices...the way to the shower was a bit tedious [over 3 paddocks] and the wind turbines in the neighborhood are permanently audible...depending on the wind direction...for a few nights all good, bikes are helpful Thanks for the place with you Sonja and Torsten

Very nice quiet pitch, next to a rapeseed field. Nice hosts , great starting point for bike tours, except for racing bikes. (Gravel roads).
