Hello dear campers,

on our farm you will find absolute peace and a great view over meadows and pastures. Surrounded by small streams, our cows, chickens and rabbits, you will spend the night directly on our farm. A special highlight - our mini cow Muck is looking forward to your cuddles or walks.

In the farm store you will find many delicacies such as eggs and pasta from our free-range chickens, sausage, meat, wine, jams, honey and potatoes.

The beautiful maars can be explored nearby. Both hiking fans and cyclists will get their money's worth in the Eifel. Endless paths and trails are waiting to be discovered.

Enjoy unique sunrises and sunsets, watch the wildlife and listen to the silence.

We kindly ask you to arrive by 19:30 at the latest.

We look forward to your visit.

The team from Hof Wiesental,

Janina & Thorsten

  • The owner seems to want to offer campers a relaxing place to stay, but there wasn’t much of that to be found. The entire farmstead was unkempt and messy. The fact that it smelled like manure all day and the mosquitoes kept us trapped inside our camper is probably just part of the deal!! The campsites were located along the edge of a gravel path and in the garage driveway. I’d also like to add that it was very difficult to reach any of the owners upon arrival. Later, the owner and his family did come out to greet us and we had a little chat.

  • We had a really wonderful and relaxing weekend with incredibly kind and friendly hosts. We were able to do plenty of shopping at the well-stocked farm store. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking. We’ll definitely be back.

  • Our first trip with Hinterland took us to this beautiful farm in the Vulkaneifel. Janina and Thorsten are so nice! The campsites are quiet and offer a great view of the wide-open fields! We’d love to come back!

  • A very friendly family. We were given a warm welcome. A lovely farm shop with delicious ice cream and jams. We enjoyed breakfast alongside the cows in the beautiful courtyard. We’d love to come back. Best regards

  • No light pollution here—it’s very quiet! We stopped here on our way to Daun Wildlife Park.
