No light pollution here—it’s very quiet! We stopped here on our way to Daun Wildlife Park.
Janina and her husband are very attentive and helpful. The farm shop offers a wide variety of fresh products. Unfortunately, there is a large black dog running around freely from the neighboring farm. This was very unpleasant, as it chased me and my dogs. If it weren't for this dog, I would give 5 stars. Great hosts and a superb parking space with wonderful hiking opportunities.
We had a great spot on the freshly mown meadow with a wonderful 360 degree view. We were able to enjoy the starry night with minimal light pollution. The farm store with its selection of local food, vegetables and even home-made ice cream is also very appealing. We received a very friendly welcome from Janina and would recommend the place to anyone who wants to enjoy relaxation on a real farm with animals.
We were very satisfied. The pitch was flat and with a view of the countryside, right next to the rabbit enclosure. We were able to use a fire pit for barbecuing. Janina and her family are very friendly hosts. We would love to come back!
A great place with great hosts
After two weeks of great experiences camping on farms, we had a bad experience here. We are used to flies and typical farm noises and smells ;) but this was extreme. We were placed on a small spot, next to a stinking silo. On top of that our car and caravan were soon covered in flies. The promised peace and calm was disturbed by an overly active rooster. When we gave some polite feedback, the hostess bluntly said we should’ve expected this on a farm. As experienced campers we can tell you, this is not the case. There are way better spots with very hospitable farmers.
I was warmly welcomed by Janina and her husband and felt very comfortable on the farm. Communication was easy and uncomplicated. I would come back anytime! 😊
If you want to experience real country life, this is the place for you. The welcome was very friendly. Our kids were allowed to ride on the tractor, we petted a calf and were allowed to feed and stroke the rabbits. There are also lots of delicious things in the small farm store. The surrounding area invites you to go hiking etc. We loved it and would love to come back. :)
I felt very comfortable with Janina and Thorsten. They are very friendly, helpful and open-minded. The small farm store is great, where you can buy eggs, barbecue food, dairy products and wine. A little tip on how to get there. The navigation system takes you past the driveway to the driveway to the farm and takes you around the outside. On the country road (after Weidental), look out for the small sign (Weidenhof/Hofladen) on the left-hand side (opposite is a road that leads to a building yard).
Very nice and flexible hosts. Wonderful landscape and wonderful peace. We will be back.
As with our first stay, there is nothing but praise to give. Janina and Thorsten are really nice and helpful. The pitch is great and the farm store only sells super tasty things. You can really go for an undisturbed walk in the area and enjoy the peace and quiet. We'll be stopping by more often. See you soon.

We had an incredibly great and relaxing weekend. The hosts are super nice and accommodating. The farm store is really well equipped, so we were able to grill delicious things on site. The walk with Muk the cow was one of many highlights. We actually didn't want to leave. But even the best time comes to an end. But we will definitely be back!
A very warm and great experience. Man and children had a lot of fun on the farm. You were allowed to get to the stables, meet animals and ride on the tractor. A dream for the kids! The surroundings let you make great hikes and you can relax and enjoy times.
Beautiful place with a view of the meadows and the cows from the farm. Janina took super much time for a tour of the farm, answered all questions and thus provided an interesting view. Thank you very much!

Just a wonderful place to relax, with a great opportunity to cater, we have great things to buy in the farm store, also Janina is a great hostess who takes a lot of time to show the farm. I think we were not the last time there, because we were looking for exactly such a place. A place where you are alone and has its peace in nature.
We had a nice weekend with very nice hosts in the middle of nature. Who is looking for a time out and absolute tranquility is exactly right here. We will come again.

Super hosts! Great place for 100% self-sufficient camping. Farm store has really good food. Farm with many different animals and explanations from Janina. Thank you very much for the great time and also tips.

We were over Pentecost at Janina and Thorsten, we liked it so well 😊 that we come back in any case. We were allowed to make a farm tour, walk with the little cow 🐄 and taste milk 🥛 freshly tapped. All guests have sat at a cozy get-together around the campfire 🔥 and have taken stick bread with a tasty wine 🍷 to us. In the farm store you can then still buy very tasty things. We spent three great nights with Janina and Thorsten. The reception was very warm and the two young operators extremely nice and and always concerned about the well-being of the campers. Great farm store with farm's own and regional products. Janina has taken a lot of time for a tour of the farm despite stress (it was silage time), for this again many thanks. Should we ever be in the area again, we will gladly return to Janina and Thorsten.

It was the first time for both of us. For Janina the first camper this year, for me the first night in my camper. Am very friendly welcome and will certainly come back in the summer. The place has a beautiful view and highly recommended for 1-2 days.
What a wonderful stay in dreamlike nature! Janina and Thorsten are very friendly and sympathetic hosts. We have firmly resolved to visit the farm and the two again. Also the hiking possibilities of the area are great. The cold water geyser has impressed us very much.
