Located at an elevation of 800 meters with sweeping views over the rolling hills of the Bavarian Forest, our property sits on the edge of the woods in a secluded spot.
The access road is suitable only for off-road vehicles, as it is only partially graveled.
Please also bring wheel chocks to keep your vehicle level.
Electricity is available upon request.
Spring water (not potable!) is also available.
The campsite is near the farmyard, and the main house is within sight. Here, you can use the restroom when the owners are present.
From here, you can embark on long hikes, train rides through Bavarian Canada, or explore the toboggan runs in the area. A treetop walk or biking is also easily possible.
Your hosts are Christian and Monika.
Restaurants are 5 km away, and the nearest small town is 10 km away. Within a 35-km radius, the towns of Cham, Straubing, Deggendorf, and Regen are within reach for shopping trips.

"Fantastic, unique view over the mountains of the Bavarian Forest." We were warmly welcomed by Monika and her husband, and after a very nice conversation we were allowed to drive to our beautiful pitch on a meadow on the edge of the forest. Easy to reach with a VW bus. Unobstructed panoramic view in a shady spot. Very quiet in the evening with deer within sight and the evening atmosphere with a view of the Arber. In the morning we were woken by the sun rising behind the mountains. A place that is also very inviting for yoga and meditation. We give it a 1 with ☆☆☆☆

Very nice place with a view towards the Arber, morning sun, during the day shade, because on the northern edge of the forest. Tip: If the grass is not so high, ask and then drive up on the edge of the forest, there is a better view. Breathtaking starry sky.
