At 800 m altitude with distant views over the rolling hills of the Bavarian Forest, our property is located on the edge of the forest in a secluded location.
The approach is only suitable for off-road vehicles, since only partially graveled.
Please also remember to bring drive-up wedges for straight standing.
Electricity is available on request.
Spring water (not drinking water!) is also available.
The pitch is close to the yard and the main house is in sight. Here you can use the toilet when the owners are present.
From here you can make extended hikes, train rides in Bavarian Canada or the toboggan runs in the area unsafe. Also a forest summit trail or biking is easily possible.
Your hostess is called Monika. You can also book a wellness break with her.

Restaurants are 5 km away, the next small town is 10 km away. Within a radius of 35 km you can reach the cities Cham, Straubing, Deggendorf and Regen for shopping tours.

"Fantastic, unique view over the mountains of the Bavarian Forest." We were warmly welcomed by Monika and her husband, and after a very nice conversation we were allowed to drive to our beautiful pitch on a meadow on the edge of the forest. Easy to reach with a VW bus. Unobstructed panoramic view in a shady spot. Very quiet in the evening with deer within sight and the evening atmosphere with a view of the Arber. In the morning we were woken by the sun rising behind the mountains. A place that is also very inviting for yoga and meditation. We give it a 1 with ☆☆☆☆

Very nice place with a view towards the Arber, morning sun, during the day shade, because on the northern edge of the forest. Tip: If the grass is not so high, ask and then drive up on the edge of the forest, there is a better view. Breathtaking starry sky.
