A natural camping area surrounded by wildlife

Our spacious camping meadow offers you the freedom to choose your own spot, with sweeping views across the pastures. The meadow is situated in a quiet, open setting surrounded by nature—ideal for anyone seeking to slow down and experience a true rural idyll.

Right next to the meadow is a horse paddock—so you’ll be camping in close proximity to our farm animals. The farm is home to many rescued animals from animal sanctuaries, all of whom are lovingly cared for. For children, the farm is a little paradise: they’re free to roam, explore, observe, and make their first connections with the animals.

A small restroom and drinking water stations are located at the barn, about 300 meters from the meadow. There is no solar shower. Electrical hookups are available on the meadow. Trash or graywater disposal is not possible.

Hands-on animal experiences:

We also offer guided activities with our animals—whether it’s grooming ponies, helping with feeding, or getting to know the animals together. These experiences are especially popular with children and should definitely be booked in advance, as space is very limited.

An ideal spot for camping close to nature, where a love of animals and open spaces are top priorities—simple, warm, and authentic.

Furthermore, Breitenbach has plenty to offer, including two beautiful churches and historic buildings, shopping, restaurants, and plenty of lovely hiking trails.
