Are you looking for a quiet place to stay surrounded by nature?
Would you like to sit by the fire in the evening and have the place all to yourselves?
Then you’ve come to the right place!
The campsite is located on a recreational property under a huuuuge walnut tree. The ground is just a meadow. The access road is mostly gravel.
The meadow is mowed at regular intervals.
There are no restroom facilities, water, or electricity.
Instead, you’ll find nature, a fire pit, peace and quiet, as well as opportunities for hiking, biking, and walking.
Dogs are very welcome!
Of course, please be sure to clean up after your dog 😉
In my opinion, the spot is ideal for cars with roof tents or (self-sufficient) camper vans.
It is not really suitable for larger RVs (over 7m) due to the access road and the ground conditions.

Top spot on the outskirts of Eckersweiler 👍🏻 – large drive-in area with a barbecue pit, swing, hammock, games for people and pets, local information, plenty of seating, and a natural setting 🌄 – simply fabulous! 😃 If you’re on a road trip and need some relaxation, or are looking for a place where your family and dog can run free, this is the perfect spot. 😁 The scenery is also beautiful, and the hiking trails are so varied. 🙂 Marleen and her mom are very friendly and helpful—thank you so much for everything ❣️ We’re really looking forward to seeing you again—this spot is perfect for us! 🏕️
