Over 10 years ago my wife Heike and I left the big city and moved here to the countryside and created a new existence for ourselves as a jam manufactory. In addition to our orchard, we are home to a fallow deer herd of over 30.

A beautiful, peaceful spot surrounded by nature. The deer enclosure, in particular, makes this place truly special. Everything is well-maintained, and you immediately feel at home and welcome. Heike and Jörg were incredibly friendly. We’d love to come back.
The campsite is beautifully situated in the countryside. We spent three wonderful days here. The hosts are very friendly, and we bought some delicious blackberry jam at their farm shop.

A super nice quiet place in the middle of nature and a great environment!
We got in touch with Jörg at relatively short notice and were able to park our camper for one night in bright sunshine in the fall. Jörg is authentic and invited us to stay on his property. We really enjoyed it and the night was nice and quiet and secluded, just the way we like it. The fruit spread we bought was delicious. A great place to stay. All the best!
A dream come true! If you want to relax surrounded by deer, cats and nature, this is the place for you. Jörg and Heike are incredibly nice, show you their truly unique grounds and tell you lots of stories. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at the game reserve and were the only ones there with a view of the animals, separated only by a fence. What a great experience! Jörg explained everything to us over the phone when we arrived, so that we immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The jams are delicious. This is another reason why we will definitely be back!

Our stay with Heike and Jörg was simply fantastic. We were allowed to spend the night right next to the game enclosure and could go and feed the animals at any time - an unforgettable experience! The small farm store with its lovingly homemade jams was also particularly nice. Everything is designed with so much heart that you immediately feel welcome and at home. We had a wonderful weekend with Heike and Jörg. They really make their guests feel welcome. We didn't have time to explore the beautiful surroundings because we immediately went into chill mode and just enjoyed nature in peace and quiet. We'll probably have to come back again 😁

This really is a particularly beautiful place to simply enjoy the peace and quiet and nature. The wild animal enclosure was a big highlight, especially for our daughter. Heike and Jörg are extremely warm hosts.

Simply beautiful! It's quiet, you can't hear a car. The hosts are incredibly friendly, just like their animals, some of which can be fed from your hand. You can go hiking, a good restaurant is a 10-minute walk away. The crowning glory of the whole thing is the jam that can be purchased directly from the hosts! Thanks for everything and see you soon! You'll be happy to come back, that's all you need. The hosts are excellent and the communication ran smoothly. In addition, the scenic location and the game reserve. We are very satisfied.
Unfortunately, we only spent one night in this very special place. You stand above Leutrsdorf with a view of the Rhine. If you want, you can simply go to the fallow deer in the enclosure. The animals come out and you can feed them from your hand. In the small hut there are a few useful things for campers and home-made jams. Fresh water is also available. Heike and Jörg are open-minded hosts and can tell you a lot about the animals and the surrounding area.
Hello Jörg, even though we didn't see each other in person, we really enjoyed our stay with you, unfortunately our 7 year old son couldn't be persuaded to go hiking in the vineyards as we would have liked. We will come again when he is a bit older Greetings Sebastian and family

Ok wow! It definitely exceeded our expectations! We were in love straight away and so were our children! There were so many highlights...the deer, the cats, feeding the animals, the jam, the honey, Heike and Jörg and finally the place!!!! And you will be back! Thank you for everything!

A beautiful campsite, wonderful and very friendly hosts who explained and showed us everything! We were allowed to help feed the animals, which was a great experience for young and old! The small but lovely farm store has many a treat in store and we stocked up on homemade jam. And when we run out, we'll probably spend a few nice days with Heike & Jörg again :) LG from us and see you soon!

Wow! I can only agree with everyone else. The hosts, the pitch, the animals, the farm store and the surroundings were simply brilliant. We would really love to come back. And luckily there are three stores in the immediate vicinity of our home that sell Jörg and Heike's jams.
Jörg and Heike offer a large meadow in the middle of their oasis. Fenced, opaque but bright and not oppressive. The pitches are spacious. The game comes right up to the fence and you can enter the enclosure and feed the animals after a briefing from Heike or Jörg. There are numerous different fruit trees and just as many types of jam to buy. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet on the site, the enriching encounters with the operators, feeding the animals and, of course, Teufel the tame deer. Not forgetting the cats, who are wild and keep their distance but made the picture even more beautiful for us. If you like peace and quiet and love animals, this is the place for you. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling tours. You can get maps of the area where you can buy jams, oils, honey, liqueurs and other things🍯
Such a wonderful place! We stayed there for 2 nights and it was really great! Heike and Jörg are such great and warm hosts and were always available for questions. We arrived in the evening with our son. The very next day we were allowed to visit Teufel and the other stags and deer and help Heike feed them. A great experience for our son and for us too. The fruit trees can also be harvested. You can buy jam and the like in the small farm store. We haven't tried them yet, but have taken them home with us. If we're in the area, we'll be sure to stop by again.
Jörg and Heike are great hosts who put their heart and soul into their work. The enclosure, with Teufel as the cutest red deer stag, really is an absolute dream. I felt incredibly comfortable with Jörg and Heike. The pitch is in a separate part of the game reserve. So that you don't wake up and the game is right outside the door. All the pitches have a wonderful view of the parts of the enclosure where the game is, and these can also be walked on. I was introduced to some of the animals directly by Jörg. The two deer were incredibly tame and curious. The pitches are very level, but as with any meadow, leveling aids are an advantage. Jörg and Heike are great hosts and take excellent care to ensure that you have as pleasant a stay as possible. From recommendations for hiking or places to stop for a bite to eat to regularly asking if everything is OK or if you need anything else. I will definitely be back. And I'll also be very happy to help with the harvest! An absolute recommendation.
Jorg’s camping was a wonderful experience. High above the rhine in an enclosed field surrounded by trees. Only nature sounds of the birds and then the great surprise and pleasure - jorg keeps about 30 deer on his property and they have a large space to roam freely but you see them close up everywhere. Jorg and Heike were so friendly explaining their small fruit farm and allowing me to feed the deer. They are genuine people who are so at home with their life amoungst nature away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The peace of it fills you Thank you for a wonderful stay
If you are looking for peace and quiet and absolute closeness to nature, this is the place for you. We stayed here for three nights and got to know Heike and Jörg and the animals. They are very welcoming and put their heart and soul into what they do. We have grown particularly fond of Teufel and Heino. Who are they? Let us surprise you with a visit. We will definitely be back.
Very nice place, the fallow deer are very trusting. We spent a very quiet night there, and a detour to the Brombeerschenke is definitely worthwhile. We also took some jam with us, but haven't tried it yet. Contact very nice and uncomplicated, we would love to come back when we are in the area. Jörg and his wife are two wonderful hosts with a lot of warmth for their guests. We were immediately given a tour of the enclosure. Everyone can be who they want to be here.
So what can I say. We have never stood so great. View when waking up in the fallow deer enclosure. Absolutely trusting animals and we were even allowed into the enclosure and feed them by hand. A great experience. The friendliness with which we were met rounds off this great experience again. Jörg&Heike have taken a lot of time for us. Many explanations about the deer and the family history were highly interesting. Of course we bought various jams and still enjoy it. I have become fond of Hannelore, the deer. Not at all shy, it ate from my hand and even let me stroke it. The generous place lies undisturbed in the nature with the Dammwildgehege above Leutesdorf. I will remember this camping experience for a long time.

On August 31 we were guests of Jörg and Heike at a fantastic place full of peace. Right next to a deer enclosure, just beautiful. We were the only guests that evening and had everything to ourselves just fantastic. We could feed the animals and there is also a small farm store. Thank you both and anytime again. It was a wonderful stay directly above the Rhine on a high plateau, up there it is also pleasantly cool A pitch in the middle of nature with very nice hosts, we would come again anytime
Fantastic pitch and very friendly hosts. 100% risk of repetition ;-) enjoy the peace and the game enclosure. Besides the game, the cats are also very trusting. Just bring patience and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The stay was sensational for me. The location of the site is quietly located on a plato above the Rhine. The hosts Heike and Jörg are kind-hearted people. The feeding of the fallow deer was an indescribably beautiful experience for me. They also produce their own jam with fruits from their own garden, you can buy the jam in the farm store. There is also a restaurant nearby which is within walking distance (20 min walk). Will be happy to come again.

Very sympathetic hosts and a beautiful place, with lovely but very hungry neighbors. Have been shown on arrival the beautiful terrain with Erklärunge, Teufel, Rudi and all the other fallow deer may get to know, very good jam purchased and a great day in the area accomplished. The pitches on the huge site that Jörg and Heike provide are fantastic. Depending on where you stand, you have a view of the Rhine, otherwise completely free view of the game enclosure. We were welcomed super sweet, immediately brought together with the animals and were even allowed to feed them. An experience! It is beautifully quiet, you actually hear only the birds and from our place sometimes the quiet snoring of Rudi, the lead animal. 🤩 The surroundings are wonderful for hikers and cyclists...and also for lazy 👍😁 AND...you can go shopping quite great jams in the farm store 👌 Dear Heike and dear Jörg...thank you for letting us stand with you 🫶 We come back in any case, definitely 😊

Jörg and Heike are just super warm people. The place is simply a dream. Quiet and clean! And then a huge plus the deer. Our daughter and we found everything just perfect.
We were two nights with Jörg and Heike and can highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for peace and time out. After a friendly welcome and a small tour of the deer enclosure, it is only feet up and enjoy nature. The site is very spacious, so that you can still retreat, even if still neighbors dazustoßen.
