We received a very friendly welcome from Stefanie, we were offered the opportunity to browse in the workshop store and also to eat. The site is very nice and has a wonderful view. There are 3 pitches in the advertisement. In fact, it is almost a mini campsite. That's not what we had in mind for a hinterland site. Therefore only 3 stars.

The site is beautiful and very well maintained, the sanitary facilities are new and very clean. We were there for two hot days, so we missed a bit of shade on our pitch and the adorable Heidschnucken are behind an electric fence, which is of course understandable but because of our little daughter a bit exhausting and a pity, as you had to be very careful that she didn't run there. Definitely recommended for peace, nature and the proximity to Bad Münstereifel.

Really great place! You feel very welcome and the pace clearly shows that everything they do is done with passion. Very pleasant location and Amenities! I would recommend and gladly stay again.

We had a restful night right next to the Heidschnucken. Despite being late, we were welcomed with open arms and were even able to choose a pitch to suit our needs. Everything is available on site and nothing was left to be desired - both the yard and the pitches are designed with attention to detail. Everything is very tidy and clean. Communication with Ernst was quick and easy. We would love to come back.

We have proven that it is perfectly possible to spend a two-week vacation here. The surrounding area has plenty of culture and nature to offer. Great place for a short break. However, it would have been fair to mention when booking that there was a funfair less than 100 meters from our pitch at the weekend and the music was really extremely loud on Friday and Saturday evenings and we couldn't really sleep well. If we had known then we would almost certainly have chosen a different weekend.

It was a great stay. Great grounds, there's something for children to discover everywhere. Ernst is very fond of children. The in-house craft store is also great and exciting, and trying out and marveling at all the instruments is also great fun. There are eggs from the farmers' chickens right in the village. The pitches are very clean and are located right in the middle of the Heidschnucken pastures. All very cool and highly recommended!

Unfortunately we can't share the positive reviews. The place is really nice, but after an announcement from Ernst we felt so uncomfortable that we left the same evening. We were informed in a very condescending manner that we had driven a furrow in the wet grass. Even repeated apologies did not result in a friendly response. Mistakes can happen, but they need to be communicated differently. Not getting out of your own car and calling us "girls" doesn't help us to speak as equals. If the lawn is important to you, you should either not invite campers or point out that the four-wheel drive should be switched on. Which also raises the question of what campers are supposed to do without four-wheel drive?

We felt very comfortable with our dog on this wonderful piece of earth. Thank you for everything.

We visited Ernst for the second time in a row. Again a very warm welcome with a great site and a tip to cool off in a local lake first. It's no ordinary campsite, but an even better place on his large property, where we have a great time as a family of four with a dog. There is a wheelbarrow of wood for (colder) nights and you can buy local refreshments from the fridge. A great place to stay if you want to be on your own but don't want to feel completely alone.

When we arrived, Ernst showed us to a campsite. The pitch was not ideal as it was right next to the passageway and very close to the communal fire pit. Ernst didn't want to give us a free spot with a fire bowl. His tone and his speech also "warned" us straight away that it was better not to broach the subject. We completely lacked privacy. Ernst is certainly a very nice host, but we found his sudden speech on political topics at the fireplace unpleasant and inappropriate. The noise level at the fireplace also kept us awake until shortly after midnight. Therefore only 2 stars. Unfortunately, the place is unsuitable for a quiet weekend. Toilet and shower were available as described. The drinks bar offered 0.3-liter bottles for €2.50. I very much hope that this description will help other campers.

A wonderful 2-day break in the countryside. Wonderful view into nature - it was a great pleasure to watch the heather sheep and hear all kinds of animals around. Here you can come down and relax wonderfully. Plenty of space for yourself and excellent care from the very friendly host. Everything was wonderfully explained and shown to us on arrival. We had the pleasure of spending a few days on this wonderful pitch and can highly recommend it. The location is simply fantastic - surrounded by picturesque nature and far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The pitch itself is very well maintained and generously sized, so you can enjoy plenty of privacy. Another highlight is the friendly and helpful operator. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived ;-) All in all, our stay here was extremely pleasant and relaxing. This pitch is definitely worth a recommendation and we will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying with Ernst on a beautiful farm site. The pitch was simply fantastic! Surrounded by green meadows and picturesque landscapes, we felt like we were in paradise among his heather sheep with their lambs. Ernst is extremely friendly and accommodating. He made me and especially my two kids feel welcome. I can highly recommend Ernst as a host. I had two wonderfully peaceful days among the Heidschnucken and their lambs. The only challenge was getting to the meadow / driving away because of the rain, but I was kindly helped by Ernst, so that wasn't a problem either. I can definitely recommend the pitch to anyone looking for peace, starry skies and beautiful hiking trails right outside the camper door 😉.

Very nice, helpful and relaxed host. The pitch is beautifully situated, wonderfully quiet and highly recommended. We and our dogs felt very comfortable. With many guests, an additional shower/WC would sometimes be helpful.

This place is very beautiful and spacious, we had very friendly contact with Ernst, you have a beautiful wide view, there are a few fire bowls and firewood (for a fee), for this we would give 4 stars, but: In the description it says that there are 3 pitches available on the site, but when we were there, there were 7 motorhomes or caravans on site. In principle, this would be completely okay, there is more than enough space, but there is only one toilet for all guests and this is also located in a room with the only shower, so that this room was locked several times during our stay (not least because of the seven "parties" on site) and could not be used. It would be fairer to state the number of pitches correctly, then guests could decide beforehand whether one toilet/shower would be enough for them when fully "occupied". P.S.: The distance to Bad Münstereifel should also be corrected in the description, it is given as 2 kilometers, actually it is 5 kilometers, is not a huge thing, but does not have to be. Otherwise, as I said, we liked it :-)

Place as described and very friendly reception by Ernst. The farm store with sound games and much more is also very impressive. For caravans only one place is really suitable, for the rest of the places the camper must either be short or you should have a mover. We had two quiet relaxing days here after a full camping site in Luxembourg. Gladly again!

One of the most beautiful places where we were allowed to stand so far. An extraordinarily friendly host, seating as well as fire bowl were already at the place. Firewood could be purchased. We spent here a dreamlike cozy evening with Ernst and his Heidschnucken. Absolutely recommendable!

Very friendly and caring hosts! Our request for a shaded place was taken into account. Since we had forgotten our drive-up wedges, we received on loan those from the private camper of the hosts. Possibility to rinse is available, sanitary very simple (exactly as described!), but you have booked neither glamping there nor would you have to pay accordingly ;-). There is a freely accessible refrigerator with (regional) beer, is paid on a trust basis - so something goes today also still... It is very pleasant that the meadow is occupied with very few pitches. As the landscape dictates, there is really a lot of peace and quiet. The Bauershof offers a wonderful opportunity to settle for a little time out in an extremely quiet place with simple "basic services" - exactly what you are looking for on this portal. We were guests of Ernst for one night. He was not there but was represented by Stefanie. Great hostess, with whom we already felt at home upon arrival, due to her nice and open manner. The place keeps what it promises. Besides the nature, the own fireplace and the Heidschnucken, you should definitely take time and "visit" the manufactory or the exhibition / store. Very pleasant place - we will be back!

We can't find enough positive words to adequately describe Ernst's Bauershof! We had the pleasure of spending a night with our campervan among the grazing Heidschnucken and it was absolutely gorgeous. Ernst was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. Ernst took the time to show us around his farm and tell us all about heidschnucken, singing bowls, wind chimes and co. His passion for the animals and nature, or anything natural, was contagious and we immediately felt connected. The Bauershof itself is a little paradise. The campervan pitches are very spacious and the fridge well stocked. Among other things, with the most delicious wheat beer and by far the most delicious Heidschnuckenwurst. We had enough space to park our van and enjoy our surroundings. The Heidschnucken were grazing peacefully nearby, and the sight was simply enchanting. It was so calming to watch the animals in their natural environment. The atmosphere at the farm was absolutely relaxed and peaceful. It was a true oasis of tranquility. We watched the sunset from our campsite and felt like we were in seventh heaven. The stillness of nature was incredibly soothing and it was a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. All in all, our night at Ernst's Bauershof was an unforgettable experience. We were deeply impressed by the hospitality, the beauty of the surroundings and the attention to detail. We can't wait to come back and spend more time in this wonderful oasis of nature. The location is fantastically relaxing, quiet and very cozy with the campfire pits. We enjoyed the long weekend very much, were only on site, have watched the Heidschnucken and enjoyed the days very much. If you ever need to get out of your own four walls, you can recharge here really well nature.

Was with my 2 sons (12 and. 7 J.) for camping there! We were welcomed by Ernst super and were lucky to be able to choose one of the places! Tent built, fire on, sun there, everything mega! Absolutely mega place to just enjoy a little peace and quiet! Ernst was for every request immediately to place and also for every fun to have! In the farm's own store directly still the Mother's Day gift for the wife at home got! We had bicycles with us, so that the surrounding landscapes could also be explored by us! I'm just sitting in my camping chair, waiting for the sunset and looking at the Heidschnucken lambs that flit across the meadow. My stay at Ernst was very nice. I have a great site with a direct view of the Heidschnucken. The common room and the toilet are clean and the workshop or the store where Ernst sells his products very worth seeing. If you are looking for a small souvenir of a nice stay, you will definitely find it here. I am traveling with my dog, although she sometimes has difficulties in strange surroundings, she feels comfortable here. Even for occasional barking one has understanding. My hike I could start directly from the pitch, the Eifelschleife Stockertblick goes directly past the farm. I will definitely come back again :) Thank you Ernst, for the beautiful days here!

We were at the end of March at the farmer farmer, who has a beautiful farm and also breeds endangered sheep. We wanted to test our new roof tent. In this respect, the dirty weather was not nice, but appropriate for the occasion. The fact that there was then also a farm festival, of which we knew nothing, has sweetened the stay even more.

The dogs and I had a very nice time at Ernst's place. It was quiet and the Heidschnucken were a welcome change. Ernst is super-sympathetic ind helpful. The prices in the farm store are also absolutely fair and not overpriced. Absolutely recommended and should I be drawn back to the area, I will gladly book again with Ernst. Hinterland Camping near Ernst. What is Hinterland? How does it feel? What does it look like? How does it smell? You'll find the questions to all these answers at Ernst's. 😃 At first we could hardly believe it. All green, in the middle of nature. The Heidschnucken are actually exciting to watch. Very many small lambs romp across the meadow. From the meadow a path leads into the enchanted backyard. The sounds of the wind chimes, the huge gongs and the quaint ambience enchant you immediately. 🥰 A look into the factory store should definitely be ventured. Shower and WC are also available. 👍🏼 We can absolutely recommend this place and will be back! ☺️ ✌🏼

We had a nice stay. The place has good sun, which is good because we were there in cold March. Nice quiet place. Please follow the host's request to stop your car before entering the site as you get stuck in certain parts of the site. The host is nice and helpful. The facilities are a bit of a walk away, but they are neat and functional. All in all, a recommended place to stay.
