The place is simply wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay, and my son absolutely loved the boat :) It might still be good for some people to know that the meadow is right next to a railroad track, though no trains ran at night during our stay. But there were quite a few during the day ;) Also, there’s hogweed on the property—contact with this plant causes severe skin burns—so we had to be very careful in the tall grass. Above all, there are surely many people who don’t know this. Removing these plants would certainly be a good idea. But that’s my only criticism :) We’ll definitely be back 🫶 Henrike, David, and Jano
Unfortunately I couldn't come because my dog was ill. The communication with Jana was great. She is very nice, flexible and gives lots of information. She has clear rules that provide reliable guidance.
Very nice, rustic place. Perfect if you just want to take a break. I can really only recommend it, the contact with Jana was totally uncomplicated. I was there with my Caddy, roof tent, children and dog. Thank you for the wonderful time

We were unable to meet Jana in person as she was on vacation at the time of our stay. However, the previous contact was absolutely flawless and friendly. We liked the place very much and would very much like to put it on our list as a "repeat stay". A railroad line borders the property, which I didn't find or read over in the description, but this actually didn't really bother us as the trains ran quite slowly and were "conspicuously" quiet. From our point of view, definitely recommendable overall 👍.

It was a wonderful weekend on a site close to nature, right next to a stream. We felt very comfortable and undisturbed. The landlords were very nice and easy to contact. We would be happy to stay again.
A wonderful pitch, set up with lots of love. We immediately felt at home and the contact was first class. There were no unanswered questions and we will definitely be back! :)
Everything was just perfect here. The place is super beautiful and easy to find thanks to good signposting. The contact with the host Jana worked really well and you can contact her at any time if you have any requests. The train didn't bother us at all. You can really unwind here. We will definitely be back :)
We felt very comfortable... It was especially nice when all the lights came on in the evening... We also loved the sounds of the horses in the background... We were a bit unlucky with the track, as the foliage had already thinned out quite a bit, but all the rest made up for it. Jana is really great and we had really nice contact with her. One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The perfect place to unwind and capture magical moments. The contact with Jana is also very friendly and you feel that you are in good hands. I can recommend it without reservation!
A place that immediately feels like a little home Wallhalla is a magical place with great attention to detail. You can feel the special atmosphere as soon as you arrive. The pitch is uncomplicated, uniquely designed and the Viking theme is implemented with a lot of heart - you discover new, lovely little things with every visit. We immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The combination of the crackling of the campfire, the gentle sound of the stream and the warm fairy lights in the trees creates an atmosphere that simply feels good and makes everyday life seem far away. Jana, the hostess, treats her guests with great warmth and at the same time has a keen sense for giving them space and peace. Our dog also visibly enjoyed the freedom and nature. Wallhalla is a place we will be happy to return to at any time.

The communication was flawless. On arrival we were totally delighted with the place. 2 nights were planned. When we met the hostess, we were totally delighted with the kindness she exudes. Very helpful and in a good mood. We had a lot of peace and quiet on the site and met some animals. It was wonderful and we would gladly recommend the place to others. We also loved the "farm store" which saved our butts. Thank you for the lovely short break at your lovingly designed campsite, dear Jana! 🥹

A dream. A magical place. Honestly! Walhalla is simply wonderful, the location by the water is wonderful, the place is great. The wind in the willows & poplars, magical dragonflies, a place for the hammock & a fire bowl. We were also lucky with a night of shooting stars. It doesn't get any better than that. :-) Plus a great hostess. We felt incredibly comfortable and will definitely be back. Thank you for this paradise!
My daughter and I had a wonderful time at Wallhalla. Everything was as described and we felt very comfortable straight away. Valhalla is a small, peaceful paradise to come to rest and relax. There are great hiking opportunities all around. Especially our dog would have liked to extend the vacation 😉 Thank you for everything!

This is the second time we've been to this magical place. It's a very special place for us: we got engaged here in June 2023 and were back in July 2024 shortly after our wedding to relax and process all the impressions. This place is perfect for winding down, finding peace and quiet. We bathed in the stream, watched dragonflies, listened to the birds, looked (in vain) for four-leaf clovers, drank tea made from fresh lemon balm (thank you, Jana) and let the sun shine on our stomachs in the grass. What could be better? Hopefully we'll be able to stay in this place for a very long time, so that we can come back again and again on our wedding days :) Let's treat nature, the hosts and each other with respect so that we can share and enjoy this place.

Even if the thunder god was not well-disposed towards us on one day, we had a good time in Valhalla :) The arrival and departure and communication with Jana was very uncomplicated. The location of the site is quiet and great for relaxing and a good starting point for excursions (e.g. Hermannsdenkmal, Externsteine). The stream is very clear and great for cooling off on warm days. Thank you for sharing the place - you can tell that there is a concept and creativity behind it and that you put your heart and soul into it - the place is very well maintained 👍We were skeptical at first because the place is not far from a residential area and the "neighbors" looked a bit curious but it didn't bother us any further. Jana fulfilled her dream with Walhalla and her 2 Tinkers and let us dream along with her for 2 days. Our dog's grandma was able to move around freely and loved the stream, we had a barbecue and chilled. Everything was great, definitely worth a trip.

As soon as it starts to get dark, Valhalla unfolds its very special charm. Jana is super nice and the communication was perfect and great at all times. We felt very comfortable all alone at the creek and will be happy to come back. The place is very quiet, the beach a dream and our dog found everything mega exciting. The toilet we felt as pure luxury. Thank you for the hospitality :-)
A beautiful location on the outskirts of Lage, designed with great attention to detail. The hostess, Jana, is very friendly and helpful. Our dog and we felt very comfortable and will definitely come again.
We were here for 2 nights. A dream 💜💜! The stream ( we bathed in it), the fire bowl, the loving decoration - has a bit of a fairy tale forest. We will definitely come again. Thank you for the hospitality 🌼🌷

Outstandingly beautiful place of rest and nature. The place has been implemented with many very loving and small details to an exciting place for children, adults and dog. Jana does it with so much love and passion. Truly a beautiful Viking dream. Highly recommended.

A beautiful spot that Jana and Rouven have prepared very lovingly, especially when the lights come on at night, you are caught in a fairy tale. The heat was wonderful to escape in the cool stream and the horses are great contemporaries. Very sympathetic and quick communication with many tips and on site you can find everything you could have forgotten. We will gladly come again! Maksim and Malte

A really great place with everything you need. Particularly noteworthy is the creative and loving design, which invites you to linger especially in the evening around the campfire. Many thanks also to Jana, who welcomed us warmly as a host and provided us with useful tips for our next trips.
Very nice place prepared with much love... Only the location.... here you are not quite so "unobserved and alone" as mentioned in the description "YOU are exactly right with us at the Urigen Bach in Valhalla IF : + you want to stand for you completely ALONE UNobserved! ... " From the higher situated about 300 to 400 meters away houses, the place can be seen almost completely..... Somewhat disturbing is also the train that passes only 300 meters from the square.... And then 35, - € per night are already quite a lot. We were by arrangement with two cars and 4 people ... means 2 x 35,- € !!!!

We had an absolutely dreamlike short vacation in paradise. Jana and her husband have made the property a highlight in Germany with so many loving details. Pure relaxation! Refreshing, clean creek, Viking flair, a tree boat for sunbathing, swivel grill and fire pit by the creek, the most beautiful toilet in the world, and horses as neighbors. The dream come true of every old-timer driver. Loving treasure chest with everything you could forget for man and beast. Incredibly kind, helpful people. When the sun goes down, your jaw drops with dozens of romantic lights and decorations. A natural idyll just around the corner with beautiful destinations close by. A very charming place with lots of loving details. Pure nature, and a totally sympathetic hostess. We will come again.
For us this place was magical! We will have fond memories of it and will surely come back. We were completely private on a wonderfully clear river surrounded by huge trees. The sun therefore sometimes disappears, but we enjoyed the wonderful morning sun and also the afternoon sun to the fullest. The horses said hello at the fence and also Günni the pheasant made an appearance. We were well taken care of with a snack on arrival, beer and firewood for a small donation and a freshly built toilet. We were allowed to meet Jana briefly as she took care of the horses. The communication, also via the platform, was very pleasant and friendly. Thank you for your hospitality, Jana, and for sharing this wonderful place with us!

A very special pitch - the most beautiful we have experienced so far. Pure nature for us all alone. Beautifully and invitingly decorated, and right on the water. With Jana and Rouven you immediately notice that the chemistry is right. They have created with much love and dedication a beautiful place that we would like to visit again as soon as possible. This great pitch is really a dream 💚🌿🦆🐎 We and our two dogs felt very comfortable there. Jana is an absolutely great and warm hostess. The place was prepared with great attention to detail. It is absolutely cozy. The location by the stream is just great. You can hear the birds singing all the time, the stream babbling and the great dear horses neighing contentedly. Jana is a super nice hostess and the place is a dream. The communication was very uncomplicated. A beautiful area directly on the Werre invites you to relax. The dogs were also perfectly satisfied. There are many excursion destinations nearby and many walks. We are very happy to come back and take up the offer to go boletus hunting. 😊

From the communication shortly after booking, to the small welcome gift (🍻) at the place and of course to the peace itself, which you can enjoy here, everything was top! The place is definitely recommendable!
For camping on probably the last warm weekend this year, we found a wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful weather in peace with the place of Jana and Rouven. There the brook splashes, the two horses snort and the wind rustles in the pastures. We sat by the fire bowl and looked into the crackling fire (Rouven and Jana provided us with extra wood for this). There is a beautiful 12 km hiking trail that starts directly at the site. Jana and Rouven are two great and accommodating people with whom we had stimulating conversations on many interesting topics. At the place we have had our absolute free space. The place is large and exactly as described. Thank you very much, you two, that you have opened this place at the creek for campers! You have made it really great with the bench, the fire bowl and the fairy lights. The exchange with you has made us happy, the peace on site has done us good - all in all, this was a very successful weekend for us! All the best to you and your animals! Andrea and Markus
