We stayed there for two nights with two cars and three dogs, felt right at home, and really enjoyed our time there. Philina was quick to help with any questions we had beforehand and was also super nice when we were there. For us, with the extras like electricity and bathroom facilities (toilet, shower, sink, washer/dryer), it was actually just like being at a campground, only without the stress of crowds... We could hear some humming from the warehouse next door at times, but it didn’t bother us. Everyone on the property, whether they were busy working or not, was friendly, open, and helpful! We’d love to come back!
A nice, quiet spot with good access to amenities. There’s a supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away. The showers are old but clean. We’d love to come back.
We had everything we needed. We’d love to come back! A great bakery (Pfeiffer), a supermarket—everything is in Steinkirchen and practically right around the corner. Jork is also easily accessible by bike in just over 20 minutes.
We felt right at home here! An impressive apple orchard, warm hosts, and a beautiful setting. There are two restrooms with showers and sinks, which are intended for the farmworkers but are also very well-maintained and available for “us” guests. A quick tip: Since work continues on the farm even after 10 p.m., those sensitive to noise might want to bring earplugs.
Fall asleep surrounded by apple trees, wake up to the sound of birds chirping, take a walk along the Lühe River to Steinkirchen… you can do all that at Philina’s farm! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank you!!!
We had a wonderful weekend right next to the apple orchard. The hostess was sooooo friendly, and the restroom facilities were top-notch. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway from everyday life—we’ll definitely be back! 🍎 🥰
It was a wonderful time. The campsite, nestled amidst a sea of apple and cherry blossoms, was simply magnificent. Our host was incredibly kind and made sure our stay was a truly unique experience—thank you so much. If we ever visit the Altes Land again, this will definitely be our first choice.

The hostess was super nice, and this is one of the few places to park in the Altes Land. However, we didn't like the large number of campers. The stated 10 parking spots had more than doubled.

We were welcomed with great warmth and kindness. The atmosphere is relaxed, just as it should be. The hostess takes good care of the guests and is always happy to answer any questions. We felt right at home.
Wonderful and warm! We found our perfect spot right in the middle of the plantation. A great place to relax—located between Stade and Jork, on the banks of the Elbe. The hosts were super nice and easygoing. We’ll be back and are looking forward to our next visit.
We were able to book an alternative spot since the restrooms are currently unavailable. We were happy about that, even though the other spot was larger (about 15 sites), which wasn’t quite what we had imagined based on the photos. It’s important to know that work is being done in the plantation at night during this time of year, so it can get quite noisy. But the blossoms make it all the more beautiful. Communicating with Philina was very pleasant and always prompt.
This was our first visit with Hinterland, and we were thrilled with our hosts. They were easygoing and warm. The bathroom and shower were fine and well-heated. There were also facilities for washing dishes. We were able to ask our hosts all sorts of questions about everything related to apples. We’d love to come back.
It’s just wonderful to wake up among the blossoming apple trees 🤩—we loved it; it was wonderfully simple and pleasant. We’d love to come back 🙂
The interaction was pleasant and completely hassle-free. Everything was exactly as described.
We only used the pitch without electricity etc.. However, the possibility for further services is available. You can reach the Elbe beach quickly on foot. We felt very comfortable with very nice hosts. We will gladly come back 😊

Very nice contact, great place right on the Elbe. The old farmhouse takes you back in time. The fear that the parking lot next door might cause a disturbance in the evening and at night was completely unfounded. A quiet night next to cherry trees and the Elbe dyke. Top!

The location is really wonderful. Directly behind the Elbe dike, very close to Stade and by car to Finkenwerder and by ferry to the fish market. Now at cherry time simply fantastic BUT: unfortunately our dog is not bulletproof and it bangs very loudly at irregular intervals. Sounds like scare shots to keep birds away, for example. You can choose your own pitch on a meadow around the house. Unfortunately, there are only 3 power connections (to each of which a cable drum was then connected) which led to failures at the weekend with about 13 camping vehicles. There was a small bathroom with toilet and shower (unfortunately you had to search at the beginning ;)) unfortunately the water was constantly cold (probably also because of too high utilization) There is also a "water tap" in the barn to fill up the camper. Waste disposal is not available on site. All in all, we liked it there and could imagine coming back at a "shot-free time".

The place is magical and in a great location. It's a great starting point for cycling, but unfortunately the weather wasn't great and I was feeling under the weather. So we urgently need to come back. Philina is very nice and friendly. Thank you very much! We will be back!
Super location! 10min walk to get to a beautiful beach. We had a nice hot shower and generally clean sanitary facilities. The kitchen also looked very clean. The contact was uncomplicated and pleasant :)
The communication with Philina was very uncomplicated and friendly. After a short phone call we were allowed to stand on a beautiful spot on the plantation between cherry and apple trees. We will definitely be back, 10/10

Friendly hostess and the location is great. Unfortunately there is no separate toilet. So it comes to bottlenecks when someone showers or brushes teeth. The kitchen for washing dishes is unkempt.
Very nice contact on site! We were there for 2 nights. Great location. From there you are quickly in Stade. It's great to cycle along the dyke. When the site is full, there are waiting times for the toilet/shower. We will be back!

We stayed there for two nights. The location is great. You only have to cross the street to get to the Elbe beach. Unfortunately we had no personal contact with Philina. It was therefore not clear to us where we were allowed to stand and where the toilet was without asking on the phone. We spent the first night in front of the apple trees and it was great. The second night we were informed by the staff that they were spraying at night, so we stood in front of the building. It was still quiet despite the road. We would have liked more cleanliness in the toilet. If there is only one toilet (and we still had fellow campers) then only 2 towels are not enough. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars.
We stayed on the pitch for one night with two mini campers and felt very well looked after. There was more than enough space on two large flat grass areas, access to a nicely designed small bathroom in the courtyard and a very friendly welcome with a few nice tips from Philine about the surrounding area. It was wonderfully quiet at night. The pitch is ideally located just 15 minutes by bike from Stade and there is a beautiful Elbe beach directly opposite. We would love to come back!

The place itself is really beautifully situated and we had it completely to ourselves - that was great! However, you should know that the apple industry is working intensively all around. Unfortunately, we were sprayed until 10 pm and the smell (chlorine and sulphur) was so unpleasant that we preferred to spend the evening in the car with the windows closed. Too bad, because the sun was glorious. If you don't have a problem with industrial agriculture and its consequences, you will certainly enjoy the place. For us, there was too much industrial flair overall - dry soil, no bees, just pretty "dead". Something else to emphasize: Philina is a very nice attentive hostess!
The place is original and you can also stand in the orchards, which is very special. But then you are without any service. In the courtyard itself, which is really impressive, you have electricity and 1 toilet and 1 shower, which is very tight when fully occupied. In addition, there was no hot water and the room is also freezing cold so showering is not for the faint-hearted. The location on the Elbe is great. There is no supply of anything within walking distance. The landlady was very nice and helpful. All in all, a very original pitch, but in my opinion a little too expensive for the service offered.

In my opinion, a site with 20 pitches in a relatively small space is atypical for the hinterland. A shower and washing-up facilities with cold water are not sufficient or comfortable for so many people.
Hostess and site recommendable. A little signage for us campers would be helpful, e.g. where the toilet is, the water outlet, etc. because the place looks like it has just opened at first glance.
The area is beautiful. The dyke, the beach, Stade. Pitches are freely selectable and you can come flexibly. 1 toilet for everyone is a bit small when there is a lot going on.

Super friendly hostess, transparent and quick to communicate. We stood by the fruit trees and it was quite quiet and very close to nature, exactly what we wanted. The only downside is that there is only one toilet and only one cold shower in the toilet room. So if someone takes a shower, you unfortunately have to wait longer. But we were told that this is being worked on. It's just a fruit farm with plenty of space for campers, but it's not a campsite with a small infrastructure. We were only there for two days and not passing through, so everything was fine for us apart from the toilet situation. However, it is important to note this in advance. Thank you again, we would book again. :)
We had a wonderful time. Great pitch between the fruit trees, where we were self-sufficient. The manager came by to check if everything was ok, which we thought was great. However, points were deducted for the fact that there was no waste disposal station directly on site and that there was only one toilet and shower for everyone.
It was loud and sleepless tonight. Of course, the idyll in the apple orchard can't come to fruition if the tractor sprays insecticides for hours at night. I wish I'd known beforehand, then I would have come back another time and thrown stars all around me.
The stay was really great. Everything on the pitch is self-explanatory, you can quickly find a power connection and the small bathroom with toilet and shower was always clean and made a well-kept impression. The fact that there was only cold water could already be seen on the display and Philina also pointed this out again during personal contact. She was available by phone for questions and in the evening she even came around again to see if everything was okay with the guests. 😊 We were there just in time for the fruit blossom, so it was really fantastic. Walks through the sea of flowers and the Elbe beach less than 5 min. Walking on the other side of the road made us forget everything for 3 days 🌸 You could just enjoy and relax. We will definitely be back again 🤗

Very nice location. The adjacent road has little traffic during the day and virtually no traffic at night. In addition, the people there are quite tame. Shower / bathroom currently only cold water (remodeling). Nevertheless clean and usable.
Place is reasonable, but too much money for nothing, especially compared to other places.
I had a great stay with Philina. Communication was easy, Philina was available for queries and very nice. She showed me a nice pitch in the plantation. Despite the rainy weather, it was really nice to walk among the blossoming cherry and apple trees and visit the Elbe beach.
Very nice reception. We could choose whether we preferred to stay at the main house or behind the Elbe dyke. On the pitch behind the Elbe dyke, which we chose, there was even a bathroom with shower/WC, but only cold water. We were parked with 3 vehicles. No problem at all. Uncomplicated and really very nice.
The contact was friendly. Philina was available and made enquiries. The fact that there was no hot water was communicated quickly and in advance. Not so great I found the nearby road, some trucks were quite loud at night. Overall OK, thank you!
Very nice and smooth contact. great wc, but very cold in winter. shower not heated in winter either. Electricity was available from the cable drum. In summer the place is certainly better usable. (Meadow, trees) 25 eur a night, for almost "nothing" is quite expensive.

It was very nice on the course. Everything was totally easy and relaxed. Since there were more than 3 motorhomes there, I didn't get a direct power connection, but nice "neighbors" let me connect to their electricity (therefore only 4 stars)⭐️. Everything was great I would love to come back

Good location directly on the dyke. Idyllic view of the courtyard and the cherry trees. We were there from Friday to Sunday. Despite being close to the road it was quite quiet. Nice landlady. We were warmly welcomed including children, there were problems with the electricity at the beginning. This was fixed immediately. We were there in July. Therefore we had no access to the sanitary facilities. Theoretically there is a public toilet in the parking lot opposite. Unfortunately this was out of order.
Wonderful. We needed no water, no electricity and had a place in the middle of the plantation all to ourselves. Very nice contact with Philina. A great start to the vacation......
Friendly hostess and beautiful old farm. It was not as idyllic as in the pictures, especially the view of the nuclear power plant Stade we found funny. We were woken up very early in the morning due to mowing work. Electricity, toilet good :)
nice place close to the Elbe, a short info about opening the white gate (look for the bolt in the dark!) and a hint where the power box is might be helpful. Unfortunately, the lawnmower on the grassy area opposite woke us up at 05:45 - but at some point the grass is probably short and there is peace and quiet.
Most suitable for caravans. We slept in a tent and therefore needed to share toilet with the workers on the farm. It was occupied most of the time.

An exceptionally beautiful pitch in the middle of the apple orchard! We were the only guests at the small water basin and really enjoyed the view of the Steinkirchen church tower as well as the sunset and sunrise! A few ducks and a rabbit were also on site...☺️ The use of the bathroom with shower and WC was downstairs in the courtyard and ok. We would love to come back when we are in the area, thank you Philina!
Very nice place directly on the Elbe dike. We were guests over Whitsun. Unfortunately, the place was a bit overcrowded, as more people had reserved a place than indicated in the description. Nevertheless, it was beautiful, with lots of nature and a great Elbe beach opposite.
Philina showed us a great pitch right next to a small pond. We were there all alone between the apple trees and had a great time! Philina is super nice and showed and explained everything to us. We would love to come back!

Stood at the farm in the plantation, alone and very idyllic so we stayed a second night. Shower/WC in the main house quite new and clean so everything was fine! We would come back for a day on the Elbe beach! Communication quick and easy. Everything was great!
Super nice pitch near the Elbe beach. We liked it very much! We were a bit out of the way in the apple orchard and had our peace and quiet there. The bathroom was also super modern. Sometimes you have to wait a little because there is only one, but that didn't bother us. We would definitely come back again!

Idyllic location, wonderfully quiet in the orchards. A really beautiful spot in the Altes Land just a stone's throw from the beach ☺️ We were right next to the plantations (thanks to the self-sufficient camper) and could really enjoy the peace and quiet here. Simply fantastic. You have to do it once. We had a great stay at the fruit tree plantations with a great sunset and a fantastic secluded location. We would love to come back again 😉
We had a very nice stay in the middle of the apple orchards at the end of April. The surrounding area is perfect for wonderful walks, especially in the direction of the Elbe. When it started to rain in the evening, we were able to watch fawns playing from our van - it was like "Bambi live"! We also had the opportunity to watch the beekeepers at work, which was very interesting. Pure nature, simply to enjoy. We will definitely be back!
Philina is super helpful, uncomplicated and extremely friendly. There is plenty of space in front of the barn and on the meadow and you can set up wherever you want. There is electricity and sanitary facilities (very clean). But keep in mind: it's not a campsite! It's easy to get across the dyke to the Elbe beach, the café or restaurant. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you very much Philina, we really enjoyed it. And Heddy too😉🦮

Philina is a super lovely hostess, gave us tips for restaurants on the phone and took great care of us. Unfortunately, it was too muddy to stand in the plantations. But we had a great time on the farm! And the proximity to the dyke is just perfect.
Very nice communication with the landlady. Nice place with a good view. We were there when the trees were in bloom and really enjoyed our stay. Cycling tours along the Elbe and through the Alte Land are highly recommended. From the campsite you cross the road and stand on the Elbe dyke. Perfect!

It was beautiful. We spent a few days at Philina's beautiful fruit farm and stood in front of the main house dating back to 1661. Everything we needed was there. We stayed here for 2 nights and felt very comfortable. The hostess gave us a warm welcome. We were able to use the washroom with WC. We will definitely be back. During the apple blossom you can even stand between the trees in the plantation. We would definitely like to see that. We can only recommend this place.
This was our second time at the apple orchard. Even though we couldn't sleep between the trees this time due to the ground conditions, we had another nice night. Philina is a lovely hostess and the proximity to the Elbe beach is really great. We will definitely be back again :)
Great location, very idyllic courtyard and above all super nice hosts who literally helped us out of a jam, thank you very much once again! (A little tip: after a long period of rain in spring (end of March) it's better not to stand on the lawn). We would love to come back again when the opportunity arises.

The contact with Philina was fast, uncomplicated and very friendly. She offered two pitches. After a short consultation, we could spontaneously move to the other place. Here we are very idyllic and quiet between apple trees. We come back with pleasure!
Our first small trip with hinterland. Unfortunately, we can not judge the place, we have not met him. Despite good arrangements in advance, we could not reach anyone at the time we specified. Calls ended up on mailboxes. The site (a really impressive yard!) was not accessible. After a little more than an hour, a callback came. But by then we had already moved on. We ourselves run a small vacation rental and know about check-in and check-out very well. Too bad.
Very friendly and uncomplicated. Philina has stopped by every day. Unfortunately, we could not stand in the apple orchard, which had previously rained longer and the ground was too wet.

It was a very nice weekend.
Here we find an evaluation difficult, because we arrived late, no one was on site and we did not really know where to stand. But we also did not want to disturb anyone else and have placed us on the asphalt square in front of a hall, because we did not want to drive on the meadows, which were very soft due to the rain. In the morning the daily routine starts here and so we drove early. The overnight stay here is certainly great if you can use a place in the extensive orchards. The surrounding area on the Elbe River offers great walking opportunities, of course. Best regards from the Patoumobil
For us a perfect location, in Bassenfleth directly dike to the Elbe beach, where our dogs could dash. Philina was super fast in communication, very nice and totally uncomplicated. We were passing through and would always do it this way!
It was a great, totally uncomplicated stay. The close proximity to the beach and the landscape around it is unbeatable. On the small parking lot, opposite the site are public toilets, which were unfortunately broken when we were there, but are in the future for campers without their own toilet an option. Phelina is very keen to make the stay as pleasant as possible and the walk across the plantation was impressive. We will definitely come again.

The proximity to the beach is really great. Since I was only there one night I can't say much about other excursions nearby. Me and the dog liked it in any case. If the toilet and washroom are then also there it is a nice place. Will gladly come again, but would then like to look a little further away from the road, a place on the huge property.
Large meadow on a busy road. The very sympathetic Philina we have met only one day after our arrival. The price per night we find a bit overpriced, because we were at the same price in other places and there were but sanitary facilities. Very likely this is the price for the proximity to the Elbe and the Elbe beach. It is wonderful there.

After consulting with Philina, we decided on the site in Hollern-Twielenfleht. And we liked it very much. The Elbe beach is within walking distance and a bike ride to Stade and through the Wunder bare Alte Land are no problem from here. We can also recommend the ferry to Hamburg which also stops in Twielenfleth if necessary. We will visit again in the flowering season or harvest to visit this beautiful area.
And liked it! The proximity to the great Elbe beach, the environment for cycling, a relaxed, uncomplicated and very nice hostess. Of course it is a bit busier on the street with the parking lot opposite, but the Alte Land is also a great destination. We will definitely be back!!!
Great place directly on the very relaxed Elbe beach. Since we are self-sufficient we could stand in the middle of the sprawling plantation. The hostess is very committed and has recommended us by satellite image the most beautiful corner in the plantation. Great climate and nice quiet atmosphere, minimally accompanied by a quiet frog concert and a foghorn in the distance. We come back with pleasure!

We were very pleased with the great large place with a view directly on the cherry plantation. The location is perfect, Stade is very easy to reach by bike. The reception was top and without effort. We will be happy to come back!!!

What can I say, I will be back.
Actually, I had planned to make a bike tour through the Alte Land to experience the apple blossom. When I drove to the pitch in the orchard, I spontaneously threw the plan over the pile, because it was so beautiful and so large there that I could drive alone over this plantation with the bike. I stood with the Bulli directly between the apple blossoms and it was just a dream. I spent the whole day there, watching the bees, catching the scent and enjoying the sun. Across the street is a public restroom and the Elbe beach, so I didn't miss anything for one night. Philina is a wonderful, friendly and easy host. Thank you so much for that! I sincerely hope that the place will continue to be taken care of by the guests so that this beautiful place can remain for a long time. A piece of freedom and generosity that I am usually more accustomed to Scandinavia 😉

Friendly operator. Very quiet. Already lonely situated. Just behind the dike the Elbe with beautiful beach. Land of milk and honey for fruit lovers. To say goodbye to Philina apples get given.

Wonderful pitch between cherry and apple trees. Also the Elbe beach nearby is great and a paradise for children and dogs.
We had a very nice reception and were then allowed to choose our place. Our night was quiet and pleasant so everything TippiToppi.... We will be back 🙂
A nice place to stand, it's quiet at night and the proximity to the Elbe is great.
The contact with the hostess was very good. The fruit farm is beautifully located behind the dike. The Elbe beach within easy reach. The location is for me with tent and 2 smaller children but not ideal. On the opposite parking lot it was very noisy, because on the banks of the Elbe bustling activity prevailed. Loud starting cars and motorcycles and loud music. Only around 11 pm it became quieter. In addition, a larger group of guest workers are accommodated on the farm. These "examined" us with the structure of the tent. As a woman with 2 children, I had a queasy feeling. I would not book there again.
After a very sympathetic welcome by Philina, there was on request the possibility to stand directly in the plantation between cherry and apple trees. Yes, it is only a pitch - but what a pitch. Peace and nature!

Two days we were there in the beautiful place. We enjoyed the time there very much. It was also nice and quiet. Couple meters walk and we were directly on the Elbe beach. It could not have been better. The hostess was also super friendly and provided us with a box of fresh apples. This spot is definitely a hundred percent recommendation. Dear Dnak for everything!
Great location, right in the middle of the plantation. Nearby, just over dike, huge Elbe sand beach. Super nice hostess. Philina, thank you for the great time and for the host gift. We have already re-booked again.
Beautiful pitch in front of the thatched house opposite an orchard. Directly on the road next to the Elbe dike. The Elbe beach is only a short five minute walk away. Electricity no problem. Nice hostess who came over especially to get to know us.
A parking space is offered here - nothing more.
The farm is nice and close to the beach. However, it was thanks to the road directly in front of it and the good weather only quiet in the evening.... Electricity we got only by chance, because an employee was working on the farm. Also by chance we have -but only when we were there- discovered that the pitch was to book on another site at half price.
Everything is uncomplicated, the site is large and offers enough space even for larger vehicles. It is located directly on the Elbe beach, from here you can take many beautiful walks. Better than the crowded Womo places in the vicinity ... We come again with pleasure times!

The place is spacious. Great beach! A very friendly reception. Attention: After two days our "light" Womi hung a bit tight in the gas floor!

We were allowed to spend a nice weekend in front of a beautiful property from 1661. The location is unique...5 minutes walk over the dike to the Elbsandstrand. Beautiful bike tours through the Alte Land. At apple harvest a feast for the eyes. We like to come back. LG Nici, René, Michael and Michaela
Unfortunately, there was no toilet on the pitch and no running water as indicated. A public toilet was 50 m away in a parking lot. For each use had to pay another 50 cents. On request, it was said that the sanitary facilities are currently being expanded and in about 2 months a toilet is available. I found a bit of a shame, especially for the price of 23€ a night. Surrounding parking and parking spaces are much cheaper.
Very nice and uncomplicated contact. Location is optimal and mega beautiful. Place was optimal and perfect for us. Very close to the Elbe. Also Stade and Jork are around the corner ;-) Will definitely come again.
