The campsites are surrounded by meadows on the outskirts of town, near a natural stream in the health resort of Beerfelden. You’ll have your campsite all to yourself and can enjoy the peace and quiet, the view, and the beautiful natural surroundings.
The historic old town of Michelstadt is just 20 minutes away, and Heidelberg can be reached in 50 minutes. Shops for daily necessities are within walking distance—just a few minutes away. Nevertheless, the sites are wonderfully quiet.
A variety of hiking and biking trails (the Sensbachtal Panorama Trail and the Mossauer Höhe are highly recommended) through stunning scenery invite you to relax and unwind. The Marbach Reservoir and the Eutersee—true hidden gems—are just a few kilometers away, offering wonderful hiking and biking trails. The Felsenmeer and the Nibelungensteig are also nearby.
Accommodations for your own horses can also be arranged, so you can enjoy a vacation with your horse. Dogs are also welcome.
The Beerfelden Bike Park is just a few minutes away by bike.
In Wald Michelbach, there’s also a summer toboggan run, a climbing forest, and a handcar—there’s something for everyone.
