Nature camp by the lake on Rügen

On the largest island of Germany it means from now on for you: First action on the water, then pure relaxation on the water! Centrally located on Rügen in the valley of a former gravel pit near Zirkow is the beautiful quarry pond of host Henry with a fine beach, bright clear water and an absolute highlight: a water ski cableway.

The drive to your campsite along the natural lake on a narrow sandy path is reminiscent of a safari - the terrain becomes more and more overgrown until you finally reach your destination in your VW camper: a secluded spot in the green with a lake and panoramic view right outside your camp door. The dragonflies dance on the water - and every now and then, someone on water skis darts by.

You want to get on the water boards, too? No problem! The modern cable park offers water sports fun for everyone. Just contact your host Henry in time. In the next step you are already standing at the lift and you can start. Let the fresh Rügen breeze blow around your nose while you race across the water.

And what comes after the sport? Of course: relaxation! On your place in solitude at the quietly rippling water you can spread out and set up your camping table in the middle of the green. During a walk around the lake you will find one or the other cozy corner with a place to sit down and relax. And if you need more action, a few meters from the campsite you will find a beach volleyball court to let off steam.

In the summer months, host Henry organizes small concerts on Thursdays and sometimes on weekends, or invites you to a barbecue on the main square. So it never gets boring here. The surrounding area also offers more than enough opportunities for excursions: In just a few minutes by car you can reach the famous Baltic resorts of Binz, Baabe, Göhren with beautiful beaches. The small towns of Bergen, Putbus and Lauterbach directly on the Greifswald Bodden are also only a few kilometers away.
