  Our stay with Birgit was simply wonderful. The place is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of water and pure tranquility. Birgit herself is such a sweet person; she does everything she can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We opted for breakfast, and it was just great to see how many homemade items are available at her farm stand. We’re happy and would love to come back. Best regards, Ben & Seda

  A truly exceptionally beautiful setting. Unspoiled, with old buildings and fish ponds. Everyone has their own quiet spot. Contrary to expectations, there were no mosquitoes. Apparently, there are enough birds and fish for them to feast on. There’s something to discover everywhere. Host Birgit offers free lodging to anyone willing to lend a hand with seasonal work, even for just a few days. We’d love to come back.

  On the day we arrived, Birgit gave us a really warm welcome. After a brief orientation, we set everything up at a leisurely pace. We traveled there with our trailer. Once everything was set up, Birgit helped us check in. The grounds are truly beautiful and perfect for unwinding—an absolute dream spot. Not only were the Nadus a highlight, but so were the many wild animals in the park. There’s always something new to discover. Birgit hosted a little tasting session for us. There were quite a few items that were really interesting and incredibly delicious. The “Tannenspitz” fruit spread and the spelt-and-nandu pasta, in particular, are absolutely divine. Everything sold in the farm shop is lovingly handmade by Birgit herself. They also offer delicious drinks. The mirabelle plum cocktail, in particular, comes highly recommended.   We especially liked the quiet location and some of the lovingly designed corners, which invite you to relax. At the same time, we got the impression that there’s still room for improvement in some areas. Some parts still seem a bit unfinished and could become much more inviting with a little more care and attention to detail. What stood out to us the most, however, were the many rats that were out and about, especially in the evening. Unfortunately, this significantly detracted from our cozy get-togethers and left us feeling uneasy.
