Half-timbered courtyard: parking space with "shelter" at coach house

Our pretty farm, which consists of a large half-timbered house, a small dreamy attic and a sheltering shed, is located in the "Vierländereck" of the district of Gütersloh, the district of Soest, the district of Paderborn and the district of Warendorf.

We do not run an agricultural business, so we cannot be compared to a farm. Rather, our love of country life and old half-timbered houses has led us to lovingly build and restore our idyllic home over several years.

Our family's love of animals has led to many different feathered and four-legged "residents" living on our farm alongside us two-legged friends. Our runner ducks race around the garden in the morning, the chickens can let off steam in the large run when they're not laying their next egg, and our cuddly farm cats are delighted with every extra cuddle. Not to forget - our playful and totally cuddly Australian Shepherd dog "Freddi", who is more than just a farm dog with a direct family connection (he doesn't run around freely on the farm - only our two cats "Pinto" and "Loki' 😉 do that - but he is either in our house or in our large fenced-in garden).

If you stay with us, you can park your motorhome/camper directly at the shed in the large courtyard, so that you can also use the dry shelter in bad weather. In addition, we offer a cozy seating area in the shed for free use, which our guests may use for themselves during their stay - e.g. for a nice barbecue evening or just for a sociable round outdoors with a cup of coffee, a glass of wine/beer, etc. ...

On request, we can provide fresh bread rolls from the popular village bakery, and our hens lay the most delicious organic eggs every day, so that our guests do not have to do without their beloved breakfast eggs.

What makes us special as people/hosts: At our farm, we live together as a family in three generations and we would be delighted to welcome many very different guests! We are open-minded people and are available with help and advice when needed! On the other hand, we also offer our guests their own privacy - despite the proximity to our home - and make every effort to ensure that everyone feels at home with us. 🧡

Excursion possibilities are among others:

- 10 min drive to a very idyllic lake with a circular hiking/cycling trail (distance 5km)

- 10 min drive to the Meiwes adventure park (distance 8km), with swing golf, soccer golf, mini golf, 3D black light golf and a corn maze in late summer (should be reserved/booked in advance)

- 13 min drive to the bathing lake "Alberssee" (distance 10km), which is very popular in summer for all beach and water lovers (pedal boats or SUPs can also be rented there) and has a nice café with delicious food and drinks by the water.

- 12 min drive to the Rietberg Garden Show Park and the historic town center of Rierberg with many listed half-timbered houses (distance 10 km)

- 12 min drive to the "Schnurstracks" climbing park in the Rietberg Garden Show Park (distance 10 km)

- 15 min drive (13 km away) to "PETERS Schokowelt", with chocolate museum and chocolate/praline courses (these should be booked well in advance)

- 15 min drive (distance 8km) to the "Cabrioli" combined swimming pool, with slide, small sauna and various indoor and outdoor pools

- 20 min drive to the historic town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück with its many listed half-timbered houses (distance 18 km)
