In the middle of greenery in southern Burgundy

Welcome to La Villeneuve!

On one of the hills in the middle of the nature of southern Burgundy, surrounded by forests, hills and fields, about 45 minutes from the A6 (Autoroute du Solail) in Chalon-Sur-Saône is your pitch and is open for you all year round. On the orchard of a former winery (8000 m²) with manor house, outbuildings, garden and park are 3 pitches, separated from each other by the fruit trees. Each individual pitch offers a lot of its own free space. The whole property is surrounded by a wall. Motorcycle tourists, families with children, hikers, cyclists and all those who want to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet in nature are welcome to stay with us.

Various benches, table groups and other resting places, especially in the park, invite you to linger. Enjoy the beautiful view and meet our numerous free-roaming animals. Whether it is the domestic animals such as dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks and a donkey, wild small animals and birds or our only neighbors, the Charolais cattle, each one will curiously examine you. With us you can expect a lot of nature, rest and recreation and with pleasure direct contact with the country and its people.

Electric connections are available for mobile homes. The supply of drinking water is also guaranteed. In the area of an outbuilding there is a toilet and a shower. Changing table and baby bath are available. In the large recreation room there is a dining table with chairs and two high chairs for children. A fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, kettle, large refrigerator and freezer, hotplates, all crockery, cutlery, oven and pans is also available. A dumping station for dirty water is located about 10 minutes away and is easy to reach.

On request we will be happy to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and cake or packed lunch.

In this area there are many hiking trails, biking trails, markets and festivals. Activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating, covered wagon rides, carting, etc. are also available. Not far away are theme parks, a zoo, a thermal bath, castles, archaeological sites (e.g. Bibracte), places of pilgrimage (Paray-Le-Monial, Cluny), a Buddhist temple, geological features, museums, cultural institutions, restaurants, stores, etc. Trips to Lyon (about 1 ¾ hrs;), Guédelon Castle (about 2 ¼ hrs), Lake Geneva (about 2.5 hrs), Vezelay (about 2 hrs) or the Burgundy wine region (about 1 hr) are also possible. Even Paris can be reached in 4 hours. On request, we will be happy to act as your personal guide for some of the sights.

Please do not smoke in the buildings, no excessive parties and treat our animals, us, our property, nature and the environment kindly. Respect your fellow residents, especially during quiet times!
