Nature Valley Kalazno

Kalazno , a former Danube Swabian village in southern Hungary. A natural retreat with a very special flair.

The small village can only be reached via a cul-de-sac. Behind the property begins directly the wild romantic Puzsta.

The air tastes clean and spicy with the scent of the surrounding vegetation. There is no regional pollution

There is a farmer and some small farmers in the place. No commerce, no industry, no usual traffic.

Here time has stopped a little bit.

We occupy a lovingly renovated farmhouse of the former Danube Swabians and are currently renovating the old, original adobe house of our former neighbors. Corona has somewhat hindered our plans.

The property with the two houses is about 3 ha . large and offers plenty of space also for campers, caravans and tents. It is divided into a high plateau with a beautiful view, a yard and garden area and a bush area that slopes slightly down to the small river.

Spontaneously there are 5 areas of about 200 - 400 sqm each available for mobile homes and caravans.

Tents can be set up everywhere. There is a wide choice. From the high plateau you have a fascinating distant view.

The region around Tolna is one of the richest in wildlife in Europe, and we are right in the middle of it.

At the moment, in early September, you can hear the roaring of the deer very close at night.

Our friendly neighbors run a real small organic farm . There are fruits and vegetables, eggs and much more, completely natural.

Our former neighbors also had such a farm. The animal stables are still there . We would like to activate everything again. Helpers are welcome.

In the future our farm will be dedicated to small animal husbandry.

Also wine tastings at the surrounding winegrowers can be organized with pleasure.
