Welcome to Oberthingau, whether you’re just passing through on your way home or stopping here on your vacation. The campground is easy to reach via the A7 and B12. From here, you can get to Füssen or the royal castles in Schwangau in about 45 minutes. You’ll find everything you need for daily life in Unterthingau.
If you’d like to eat out:
We recommend the Gasthof Alpenrose in Oberthingau. Alternatively, if you have a car, you can enjoy excellent meals at the Gasthof Hirsch in Görisried or the Felderwirt in Unterthingau. The Voglerwirt in Leuterschach is a quaint restaurant.
You can reach the tractor manufacturer Fendt, headquartered in Marktoberdorf, in about 15 minutes.
