  • Simply beautiful, beautiful, and beautiful again. Oli had prepared this little spot—which already looked absolutely beautiful in the photos—for us with such warmth and care. We got to enjoy his little garden with its wonderful seating area, a great outdoor toilet (a real toilet!!!!), in an enchanting little heart-shaped house, a fire pit all set up (we just had to light it—everything was lovingly prepared and ready to go), and a conveniently placed trash can. The camping area is spacious; we were completely free to choose exactly where we wanted to set up camp. On one side, there’s a beautiful, sweeping view across fields and villages (at night, I think you can see several beautiful old buildings glowing in the forest in the distance—which was absolutely lovely), and on the other side, the view extends to the adjacent vineyard and, in the distance, across orchards and beautiful hills. We were immediately thrilled. The “high above it all” location and the tranquility are especially lovely. It was simply quiet all around us. (Every now and then, we could hear and see a train in the distance, which would then rumble through a tunnel under a hill—the sound didn’t bother us at all; on the contrary, we—and especially our 9-year-old—found it exciting to watch the train rumble through the tunnel). An absolutely dreamlike spot. Our communication with Oli beforehand was very, very pleasant; his responsiveness and reliability were outstanding. Sitting at the beautiful wooden table under the grapevines in the arbor and eating in peace was simply wonderful. Highly recommended for anyone who’d like to spend some time on their own, far away from noise, in such a lovingly designed atmosphere. Thank you so much, Oli!!!
