Campground for cyclists right on the Elbe River

Our natural garden is located right on the Elbe—between the dike and the river—with direct access to the water. The shallow shoreline and the large sandbar right in front of the property are perfect for swimming, playing, and relaxing. The Elbe Cycle Path runs right along the top of the dike, making our location ideal as an overnight stop for cyclists. The peaceful setting within the biosphere reserve also offers excellent conditions for hiking and relaxation. On the other side of the garden is a soccer field open to the public. The train station, with good connections to Lüneburg, is about a 20-minute walk away. Across the Elbe lies the historic old town of Lauenburg with its restaurants and cafés. Since the main road runs far away, it’s pleasantly quiet at night—ideal for anyone who appreciates nature, relaxation, and a hassle-free place to stay.
