A Tent Oasis at a Nature-Oriented Campground

The Tent Oasis is a cozy retreat for two people, located in a quiet area of the campground. The tent stands on a wooden deck and combines the authentic camping experience with a little extra comfort for a relaxing vacation for two.

Inside the tent, there’s a double bed (140x200). Storage boxes provide space for clothes and personal items. Lighting and an electrical outlet are also available, so you can make yourself comfortable in the evening as well. Right in front of the tent, the small deck invites you to sit outside. Two chairs and a small table are provided—ideal for your first cup of coffee in the morning, a quiet break during the day, or a relaxing evening in the fresh air. There’s even a tree nearby perfect for hanging a hammock.

The three restroom areas—with toilets, washrooms, and showers—are shared facilities and are spread throughout the campground. A communal kitchen is available on-site for self-catering.

This nature-oriented campground is located in the “leeward side” of the island of Usedom, right at the mouth of the Peene River. Away from mass tourism, you can relax and enjoy the sea, river, beach, forests, and meadows here, or actively explore them by boat, bike, or on foot. There are a few restaurants and a snack bar right in town. You can buy fresh and smoked fish directly from the fishermen. You’ll find a small supermarket in the Kröslin district (3 km away). There you’ll also find additional dining options and a very nice sauna, which makes even cooler days a special experience. And if you do feel like a bit more hustle and bustle, the passenger and bicycle ferry runs hourly to Peenemünde on Usedom. The seaside resort of Lubmin is also just 15 minutes away, and the university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald is 30 minutes away. A trip to the seaside resorts on Usedom—such as Swinemünde, Wolgast, Anklam, or Stralsund—and to the island of Rügen rounds out the wide range of options.
