It is a large area of woods and meadows. However, access by larger RVs is limited to the entrance area. The entire area can be reached on foot, by bicycle, on enduro motorcycles, and in smaller cars—weather permitting.

Due to the wildfires in this region shortly before my planned stay, I contacted Rainer and canceled my two-night reservation. Based on the photos and local information, I would certainly have confirmed the positive reviews in hindsight. … and that’s exactly what I’m doing now…
A very nice campground. Lovingly decorated and surrounded by nature. We'd love to come back!
A large, spacious lot next to a stream, with a sawdust toilet, a small shed equipped with a small gas stove, and a watering can shower. Rainer provided helpful directions. RVs or larger campers should check the route in advance, as the descent is somewhat steep and narrow. We parked in a slightly sloped, mowed clearing. To be fair, it’s worth mentioning that you can hear the nearby road.
