We’re offering you the chance to spend the night in a
teepee tent in our garden. The garden is located in the historic district of Quakenbrück. You’ll have the garden all to yourselves and can use a bathroom on the neighboring property.
The bathroom, which includes a toilet, shower, and sink, is for your exclusive use during your stay.
Both properties are connected.
The house on “your” property is unoccupied.
The teepee tent is equipped with a bed, a nightstand, and storage space (more photos to follow). Bedding and towels are included in the price.
We’ll set up the tent over the weekend of June 28–26; more photos will follow afterward.
There’s a supermarket 200 meters away where you can have breakfast. There’s also a café 450 meters away. However, we’d be happy to bring a breakfast basket to the tent for you.
Quakenbrück is a charming little town with half-timbered houses. Restaurants, shops, an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, a café, and a museum are all within walking distance.

Hiking
There are opportunities for hiking in the area. The Thülsfeld Dam isn't too far away; there's a heathland landscape there. There's a beautiful area for hiking in 49626 Berge near the Börstel Abbey, which is also well worth a visit.
Wine tasting
We have a lovely wine house in Quakenbrück with a wine cellar that's well worth seeing. Here,
you'll need to check with the wine house.
Cycling
Artland is a beautiful area for cycling, and along the way you can discover numerous historic half-timbered farmhouses. You can enjoy nature as you ride along the Hase River. There are many bike paths in the area. Feel free to check with the local tourist information office for more details.

We're right in the heart of Quakenbrück's old town; we have songbirds, bats, and an owl.
Other activities
Nearby is Lake Alfsee, which offers water skiing and a play barn called Bullermeck. The Thülsfeld Dam features an animal and amusement park in 26169 Friesoythe-Mittelsten Thüle. The museum village in Cloppenburg is also highly recommended.
Kayaking, canoeing
Please check with the tourist information office. Paddling on the Hase (that's the river in Quakenbrück) is permitted.
