Hi everyone,
We’re renting out 3 tent sites in the Hotzenwald on our old farm, which we’ve been renovating for several years now. The sites are set back from the house behind a cow pasture and are located on a south-facing hillside plateau. The site is not on the road and is very quiet. On clear days, you have a view of the Alps. There are shaded spots under the trees. We have a large fire pit (wood is provided), which you’re welcome to use, a toilet, and a simple outdoor shower (cold water only for now).
When we’re on-site, you can play table tennis or foosball in our barn. We also have a trampoline in the garden and outdoor games (badminton, Frisbee, etc.), which you’re welcome to use.
There are many hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. Shopping options are available in nearby Görwihl (Edeka, organic grocery store, bakery). There are also several farmers selling their produce directly.
Taran is 7 years old and always enjoys having other children to play with.

It was a great stay—the campground is very quiet and cozy, and it has everything you need: shaded spots, showers, restrooms, lounge chairs, and a fire pit with benches. Jochen is also a great host and goes out of his way to make sure guests have everything they need. We’d love to come back!
It is a beautiful location and jochen was very kind host, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
Everything was great. Jochen greeted us briefly and then showed us everything that was available to us and how it worked—the shower, etc. After that, we were able to set up our tents on the lawn in the garden and enjoy the beautiful view all the way to the Alps.
The spot was absolutely beautiful, with a wonderful view and shaded areas. Jochen was also super friendly and even went out of his way to leave a few things out for us just in case, even though he wasn’t there (barbecue tongs, first-aid kit, towels, etc.). The barbecue area was also really cozy, with benches and a small table.
