Pure Nature Retreat / Digital Detox

A retreat on private property near Groß-Gerau—perfect for unwinding and taking a deep breath in the great outdoors

The off-grid setup:

* Spacious tent for up to four people in the shade of an old linden tree

* 2 large sleeping compartments, an entrance area with headroom

* Camping stove at a covered outdoor cooking area

* Pot, pan, plates, cups, and cutlery for 4 people

* Passive cooler for your food, WITHOUT ice packs

* Garden shower with sun-warmed well water

* Dry toilet

* Fully fenced-in grounds

* Up close and personal with nature

What to bring:

* Sleeping bag and sleeping pad

* Your own drinking water

* Mosquito and tick repellent if needed

* Food that keeps without refrigeration; bring your own ice packs if necessary

* A desire to live a different kind of life

What is NOT available:

* Tap water

* Electrical grid

* Delivery services (since there is no address)

* Garbage collection (so please take your trash with you at the end)

* Neither luxury nor service (this also applies to the dry toilet)

General conditions & capacity:

* Maximum of 4 people

* Maximum of 3 consecutive days (fewer people may stay longer—just ask me)

* Dogs are welcome, but should leave the birds here in peace; if in doubt, please talk to me

* I live in my own trailer on the property, but I’ll give you your space. I’m here if you have questions or want to chat, but otherwise you’ll have your peace and quiet.

Getting Here & Location:

* By car: Parking for 1 vehicle available; access via paved dirt roads

* By train: About a 20-minute walk from the nearest train station

* Miles of hiking and walking trails through woods and fields right outside the door

Disclaimer:

* We share the space with the garden’s rightful inhabitants, including spiders, snails, mice, ants…

* An open pond and naturally occurring poisonous plants make the grounds too dangerous for children

* Open fires are not permitted due to local regulations

* Dogs must be kept on a leash in fields and woods
