A small, cozy mountain cabin for three people or two adults and two small children.
Nestled in the forest right on the border of Saxon Switzerland National Park. A great starting point for hikes (45 minutes to the Bastei!), climbing (30 minutes to Rathen), or paddling on the Elbe. Also perfect for hikers on the Malerweg trail, either as a base for the entire trip or at the end of stages 1 and 7.
Large forest and meadow grounds all around with a fire pit and a giant swing.
There are several other small mountain huts with a similar vibe right nearby, so you won’t be all alone in the woods. :)
The Hasenbaude is not heated, has a small kitchen with everything you need, a bedroom, and a loggia.
Toilets and showers are located about 50 meters away in another cabin; they are also used by other visitors.
The Hasenbaude is ideal for anyone who enjoys being outdoors and appreciates simple living in nature.
One very important thing: please bring your own (head)lamps and sleeping bags; there are only a few emergency blankets in the cabin.
