Westerwald Idyll: Campground by the Stream

Welcome to Oberhombach—a small, idyllic village where, with a little luck, you might be joined by deer in the evening. ;-)

Enjoy the sound of the Hombach stream and the natural surroundings in our garden. The spacious property surrounding our house, which we took over in 2024, offers plenty of room to relax and unwind amidst the Westerwald countryside.

On the path to the Hombach, which runs along the entire property, feel free to help yourself to the blackberry and raspberry bushes or explore the nature trail to discover your own favorite spot in nature.

There’s also plenty to experience around Wissen and Gebhardshain: Numerous hiking trails wind through the beautiful Westerwald landscape, inviting you to take long walks. Those interested in history can also visit one of the region’s former mining sites.

If you prefer to cook for yourself or would like to skip the local restaurants for a change, our spacious restroom area features a kitchenette equipped with everything you need. To promote mindful water use, the showers operate with shower tokens. One token per guest is included; additional tokens can be purchased for €1 as needed.
