Self-sufficient micro-vacation home

A dream getaway for couples, with no compromises—set in a secluded spot surrounded by nature. Small but fully equipped: heating, kitchen, refrigerator, toilet, and shower. Designed and built with great care for a comfortable overnight stay in nature. A technical highlight is the recirculating shower, which allows you to shower for a long time despite limited water supplies.

Since our one-of-a-kind cabin is mobile, it will change locations every 3 to 4 weeks. However, it’s always situated on private property with friendly hosts. Please keep this in mind when booking and planning your trip. You can also request specific locations, and I’ll see what’s possible.

Our plan for the locations:

June 12–July 13, 2026: No. 1: “Schlossmühle Schieritz.” Set in an orchard meadow near an active watermill, it’s idyllically situated in the countryside. Next to it is a new, mobile sauna that can also be booked!

August 5–24, 2026: No. 2: “Zickeria Eckardsberg.” A carefully chosen location with a unique view of the Elbe Valley. The hosts also offer campsites here in the hinterland!

August 26–September 14, 2026: No. 3: “Juchhöh”—the perfect spot for wine lovers. In the fenced-in vineyard, you’ll enjoy peace and quiet, views, hiking trails, and wineries.

September 16–October 12, 2026: No. 4: “Schafweide” The charm of this location lies in its seclusion: It’s accessible only on foot—please wear hiking boots and long pants. On our approximately 3-hectare wild meadow, you can observe many animals and plants. Here, our little cottage really shines when it comes to self-sufficiency.

Location No. 5 is a small olive grove on a hill. It offers a unique view of Schieritz Castle.

After booking and before your arrival, you’ll receive detailed directions and all the necessary information for check-in.

The 180-cm-wide bed can accommodate 2 people or even a child.

Bedding and towels are provided.

For coffee lovers: there are several options for making coffee.
