Parking Area at the Thüringer-WOW Viewpoint on the Saalfelder Höhe

Hi there,

My husband and I have a beautiful campsite available at the edge of the forest in the Saalfelder Höhe, just below our forest cabin. We’re usually not there. The campsite is on the edge of the forest with a view of the meadow, the village, and the Thuringian Valley.

It’s located on the outskirts of Burkersdorf.

The sunsets are absolutely stunning :-)

You’ll have the opportunity to empty your portable toilet. In the village itself, there’s a small spring with water that tastes excellent.
