Hi there,
My husband and I have a beautiful campsite available on the edge of the forest in the Saalfelder Höhe, just below our forest cabin. We’re usually not there at all. The campsite is on the edge of the forest with a view of the meadow, the village, and the Thuringian Valley. The site itself is 5 meters long.
It’s located on the outskirts of Burkersdorf.
The sunsets are absolutely stunning :-)
You’ll have the opportunity to dispose of your camping toilet waste. In the village itself, there’s a small spring with water that tastes excellent.

What a beautiful place. 🌲 We stayed at site 2, right in the forest. The location is a dream and the perfect starting point for long hikes through the Thuringian Forest. Two magically beautiful sunsets rounded out our stay. 🌅 The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxed. Just the right place to escape the daily grind and enjoy nature. Communicating with the host via message was very warm and straightforward. Thank you so much for sharing this special place with others. We felt completely at home and would love to come back. 😊
