Camping at the Old Train Station: The Fläming Nature Retreat

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Fläming region and just a stone’s throw from the Fläming-Skate trail lies our old station of the Royal Prussian Military Railway. Here you’ll find plenty of untamed nature and space for your RV or tent. The line has been out of service since 1996, but the handcars from the adventure railway still find their way out to us. 250 meters down the tracks, there’s a playground with a small soccer field, a basketball hoop, a ping-pong table, and a bocce court (balls and other equipment are also available on-site). In the summer, a small bistro awaits you at the station. It’s wonderful: sitting on the platform at sunset with a cold beer. There is a restroom in the station that can be used with a key even outside of opening hours. Otherwise, there are no restroom facilities! You can fill your water tank at an outdoor water connection. Electricity for cell phones and e-bikes is available free of charge.
