Imagine waking up, opening your tent flap or camper door, and catching your first glimpse of the majestic silhouette of the Swabian Alb. On our 4,000 m² idyllically secluded garden property, this dream comes true. In a completely secluded setting, we offer you not just a campsite, but a temporary home away from home.
A retreat for the soul
Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot with your camper or pitching your tent on the soft meadow among protective shrubs: Here you’ll find the peace and quiet that’s often missing in everyday life.
• Fire magic & enjoyment: Wind down the evening at one of our fire pits. Cook like in great-grandfather’s day on the rustic wood-fired stove by the old apiary, or use our charming little outdoor kitchen.
• Relax: Whether in a sunny spot under the open sky or a sheltered nook under the canopy—find your favorite spot for reading, daydreaming, or a snack.
• The “little restroom” deluxe: Even a trip to the outhouse becomes an experience here—with a panoramic view that’s second to none.
A paradise for people & pets
Since our entire property is securely fenced, your children and four-legged companions (dogs and cats alike!) can roam freely and carefree while you unwind.
Adventure right on your doorstep
The region is a treasure trove for explorers:
• Hiking: Conquer the ruins at Rosenstein or hike to rustic, guest-friendly huts.
• Biking: Gentle rides across the Alb or pure adrenaline on the nearby downhill trail—the choice is yours.
• Culture: The gold and silver town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, with its magnificent half-timbered houses, is just a stone’s throw away.
Come as a guest and leave as a friend. We look forward to showing you our dreamy little spot with a view of the Alb!

A very nice, cozy, and quiet spot with a beautifully level tenting area. The directions were perfect! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
My sister and I stayed at the Gütle from Friday through Sunday. It was really lovely. Everything is decorated with great care, and it’s very peaceful. There’s plenty of shade from the trees, and we were almost alone. The bathroom was fine. We didn’t need any firewood, but it would have been available. Thomas was easy to reach by phone and very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for everything.
An extraordinary one-night stay with Thomas and Jutta. An extraordinary place—quiet and full of little nooks and crannies. Even though we didn't see our hosts, the experience was perfect. We'll be back. Thank you
We stayed there for one night, and it was really lovely. There were just the two of us, and we've never experienced such peace and quiet as we did there. We highly recommend it!! Great property and very clean!!
There were three of us there, each in our own camper, for three days. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was fantastic. It was like an adventure playground for adults—you can keep yourself busy the whole time and explore the area by bike—or just relax comfortably in one of the many lovely spots on the grounds. It was easy to find a spot for all three vehicles, but we could have easily spread out as well—the site is really large and a bit winding, so you could have privacy if you wanted it. Communicating with Thomi was straightforward and very pleasant, which really rounded out the experience for me.
