Imagine waking up, opening your tent flap or camper door, and catching your first glimpse of the majestic silhouette of the Swabian Alb. On our 4,000 m² idyllically secluded garden property, this dream comes true. In a completely secluded setting, we offer you not just a campsite, but a temporary home away from home.

A retreat for the soul

Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot with your camper or pitching your tent on the soft meadow among protective shrubs: Here you’ll find the peace and quiet that’s often missing in everyday life.

• Fire magic & enjoyment: Wind down the evening at one of our fire pits. Cook like in great-grandfather’s day on the rustic wood-fired stove by the old apiary, or use our charming little outdoor kitchen.

• Relax: Whether in a sunny spot under the open sky or a sheltered nook under the canopy—find your favorite spot for reading, daydreaming, or a snack.

• The “little restroom” deluxe: Even a trip to the outhouse becomes an experience here—with a panoramic view that’s second to none.

A paradise for people & pets

Since our entire property is securely fenced, your children and four-legged companions (dogs and cats alike!) can roam freely and carefree while you unwind.

Adventure right on your doorstep

The region is a treasure trove for explorers:

• Hiking: Conquer the ruins at Rosenstein or hike to rustic, guest-friendly huts.

• Biking: Gentle rides across the Alb or pure adrenaline on the nearby downhill trail—the choice is yours.

• Culture: The gold and silver town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, with its magnificent half-timbered houses, is just a stone’s throw away.

Come as a guest and leave as a friend. We look forward to showing you our dreamy little spot with a view of the Alb!

We really enjoyed it! We were the only ones on the property, which is really nicely laid out with different nooks and crannies, and the secluded location was great for our dog, who doesn't get along with other dogs.

An absolute paradise in the countryside—a weekend where nothing is missing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ We spent a dreamy weekend from Friday to Sunday at this beautiful, idyllically secluded garden property and were absolutely thrilled! The 4,000 m² property is completely secluded among fields and offers pure tranquility in a truly private setting. The property is designed with an incredible attention to detail; there’s so much to discover, and it simply invites you to linger. We really didn’t lack for anything—we were absolutely surprised! Particularly worth mentioning is the composting toilet, which is superbly designed and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of comfort. When I used it, I even said to myself, “Wow—it feels more comfortable to sit on than our ceramic toilet at home.” An absolute highlight is the amazing view of the Swabian Alb. 😍 In the morning, you’re rewarded with a panoramic view you won’t soon forget. And if you get up early, with a little luck you might even spot deer in the field right next door—pure nature! The many different bird species you can hear and see here also make this place a real treat for nature lovers. The great fire pits invite you to get creative in the kitchen. A huge plus: You don’t have to bring your own firewood—you can simply add it to your booking with no hassle. Awesome! We’d been looking for a while for a way to spontaneously unwind and relax in the countryside nearby on the weekends. We’re overjoyed to have found this fantastic property. Since the area is completely fenced in, you get that great feeling right from the start: “Here, I’m all to myself.” On Sunday, we got to meet the host, Thomi—and we hit it off right away! He’s a super nice guy and also an avid outdoor and off-road traveler. We’ll definitely be back—and we can’t wait to visit more often. The photos already show just how amazing this location is. We give it a 101% recommendation and 5+ stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thomi is a super friendly host, and you can tell right away that everything here is done with a lot of passion and attention to detail—as if he’d built it for himself. Our stay helped us enormously to completely clear our heads of the hustle and bustle of the big city. The time we spent together at the table under the shelter and in the evenings by the fire pit was simply unforgettable. If you’re reading this review and still wondering if it’s worth it: The answer is a resounding yes! Just book it; you won’t regret it. This place was 100% worth it. Everything was truly great. Many thanks to Thomi and Jetta—we’ll definitely be back! Best regards, Vladyslav & friends
