In the Lower Bavarian Forest, above the village of Stallwang, a very special place to stay awaits you: our cozy sleeping barrel.

Here you can enjoy nature, tranquility, and a unique atmosphere. Our farm is located on the sunny southern slope of the Gallnerberg, offering magnificent views across meadows and forests. At the same time, you’re just a few minutes’ walk from the village center, where you’ll find a bakery, a restaurant, and other shopping options.

The sleeping barrel offers you a rustic yet comfortable nature experience—perfect for couples, friends, or anyone looking to try something special. In the evenings, you can enjoy the tranquility of nature, stargaze, and, with a little luck, even spot deer or hares in the meadows surrounding our farm.

Our farm is also an ideal starting point for hikes and bike rides. Popular hiking trails like the Goldsteig or the Way of St. James pass right by us. After a hike up our local mountain, you can even see as far as the Alps on a clear day.

Especially nice: Friends or families without a camper can now spend their vacation with you here and experience farm life in the Bavarian Forest.
