This private property is located on the outskirts of a village with 20 residents, right next to a field. For caravans, RVs, or shepherd’s wagons/forestry wagons, please see my other listing.
The price is for one person in a tent. Each additional person is €5. Children 6 and under stay free. You must bring your own tent ;-)
A lake for fishing and swimming is about 1 km away.
You’ll find friendly people, a big friendly dog, a cat, and two rabbits. Expect nature and an “outdoor” experience, but unfortunately not perfect amenities or perfect tidiness ;-)
Firewood for campfires is provided free of charge.
Yes, we’re open year-round ;-)
Unfortunately, our site isn’t suitable for people with mobility impairments. There’s a relatively steep staircase leading to the bathroom and utility room, and the entrance also has a high step leading inside. Unfortunately, this can’t be changed due to the building’s structure—we’re truly sorry.
You’re welcome to use the summer kitchen (the electric stove has a flat-rate fee starting at €2 depending on the length of your stay; the wood-burning stove is free but not recommended during hot summer weather). The summer kitchen is your go-to spot when it’s cool or rainy ;-)
Except during harvest season and for a short time in the morning (when the road maintenance crew across the way gets to work), it’s very quiet here.
Our price is per tent (for up to 1 person, see above), including water, showers, the summer kitchen (except for the electric stove), electricity for cell phones, and firewood. There’s space for 2 tents. It’s possible to arrive with a very small trailer (or a VW-bus-sized camper van) (tent on wheels)—please use the other listing for that ;-).
Check-in is available starting at 3:00 PM.
Note: We’re in Mölln, Mecklenburg. Please don’t confuse us with the other Mölln—it’s many kilometers away ;-)

A very nice place—a wonderful host family with great attention to detail. The surrounding area offers beautiful nature in the bird sanctuary...
We had a great time at the Alte Verwalterhaus. Super quiet, great nature nearby (as the description says, great for nature photographers!), everything we needed was available on the pitch. Lars and Eva are lovely hosts and provided us with lots of great tips. The communication in advance was also very good. We would love to come back, thank you very much!
We were only 2 nights in the great garden of Lars and Eva. Pure nature and all the amenities you need. The storks on the roof were a real highlight that we were allowed to watch in the evening at the campfire. Really nice
Idyllic little farm with very nice hosts! We have felt very comfortable.
The hosts are very nice. All available rooms (bathroom, tea kitchen in the house with refrigerator sharing and summer kitchen) are extremely clean and comfortable. The garden is large and ideal for camping. We were allowed to light a campfire with firewood ready. When it started to rain, a shelter by the fire gave us protection. All in all, highly recommended.
