Our Zettenranch is located on Saxony’s largest Slavic quadrangular rampart and, in addition to meadows, forests, and starry skies, offers the spirit of over 2,000 years of settlement history!
Enjoy the peace and quiet, the gorgeous surroundings, and the starry sky by the campfire!
We’re completely at one with nature—we only use a little solar power.
Welcome!

We had a wonderful stay at the Zettenranch (1 day/night). Under bright sunshine and a cloudless sky, we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset at the photo spot by the Feueresse Döben and see the stars and lots of shooting stars at night. The campsite was tidy and the grass was kept short. We were all by ourselves; only a small herd of goats kept us company, and they happily came closer for some fresh dandelions and clover. The access via the dirt road was completely hassle-free with our VW Crafter (L2H2). Although we didn’t meet our host, Gero, in person, we’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for the great spot. 🚐🌾✨🦗🐐
It was absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, and wildly romantic. And we truly let the starry sky wrap us in its embrace ✨
Everything was as described; we had a quiet weekend here. However, due to the poor access via a dirt road (which becomes completely impassable when wet), we wouldn't consider staying here again.
The campsite is beautiful, and you have a great view of the field. We felt right at home here and had a relaxing time. Gero is very helpful, laid-back, and kind. Thanks again!
The booking process was seamless, and the campsite was absolutely gorgeous, with a breathtaking view of the starry sky. They didn’t overpromise here—if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is exactly the place for you.
