Nature. Peace. Freedom.

Spend unforgettable days in our lovingly restored circus wagon—an extraordinary tiny house in a completely secluded location, surrounded by forest and just about 100 meters from an idyllic lake.

Here you’ll find what’s often lost in everyday life: silence, open spaces, and the power of nature. Whether you’re hiking, fishing, paddling, biking, or simply relaxing on the patio—this special place invites you to leave your daily routine behind and recharge your batteries.

Numerous hiking trails lead directly from the circus wagon through the Swedish forest landscape. Many lakes in the area are perfect for fishing. A Canadian canoe is available for your excursions on our private lake. Right on the water, you’ll also find our rustic wood-fired sauna—the perfect way to end an eventful day.

Cyclists will find the famous Sverigeleden—Sweden’s longest cycling trail, stretching approximately 2,620 kilometers—at the end of our 800-meter-long private driveway.

The Circus Caravan

Our nostalgic circus caravan combines the charm of bygone days with cozy living comfort for two people.

Amenities include:

a cozy double bed with a view of the forest

a cooking and dining area

a large sun terrace

a 220-volt power connection

infrared heating for the transitional season

a new wood-burning stove for cozy warmth on cool days (Firewood is charged based on consumption)

The hot shower and a modern dry toilet are located in the nearby restroom building.

Sustainability is particularly important to us. That’s why we power the site with solar energy and use a natural reed bed filtration system, among other measures.

The Story of Our Circus Caravan

Some places tell their own stories—our circus caravan is one of them.

We discovered it in Germany many years ago. Buying it was certainly not a rational decision, as its condition was anything but promising. Still, it was love at first sight.

For many years, it stood in an orchard, patiently waiting for its second chance. Step by step, it was restored with great passion. Finally, we managed to transport the wagon to Sweden, where friends actively helped with the renovation.

Only natural materials were used during the renovation. The hemp insulation ensures a pleasant indoor climate, and all wooden parts—even the old mahogany beams—were treated with organic hard oil.

Today, the wagon stands in what is arguably its most beautiful spot: nestled between the forest and the lake, where tranquility and nature let you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

When we look back on this project today, we know that every single hour of work was worth it. Without the support of so many helping hands, this special place would never have come to be.

A Place to Take a Deep Breath

This place is designed for people who are consciously seeking a break in nature.

Here, the day begins with birdsong instead of traffic noise. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset over the lake, gaze at the starry sky, or—if the risk of forest fires allows—build a big campfire.

Just be. Take a deep breath. Slow down.

Location

The circus wagon is located on our private natural property in a completely secluded setting.

And by secluded, we really mean secluded.

The wonderfully expansive natural landscape begins right outside the door. Forests, lakes, and hiking trails invite you to experience Sweden in its most unspoiled form.

The nearest town, Öxabäck, is about four kilometers away. There you’ll find shops for your daily needs.
