In the big garden

Our large, peaceful garden is located in Emsland, in the municipality of Surwold. Right next to the garden is the Surwold recreation area, which offers many leisure activities for young and old alike. These include mini golf, a climbing forest, gliding, a fairy tale forest, an archery park, a summer toboggan run, a heated outdoor pool (reopening in May 2026 after renovation work), a playground, a motodrome, and much more. The surrounding area is ideal for exploring by bike, whether on hilly forest trails or miles of cycle paths. The Meyer shipyard, where numerous cruise ships are built, is about 17 km away, and in the opposite direction is the baroque hunting lodge Clemenswerth.

Note: Access is via Kirchweg, Königsallee, into Friesenweg. At the end, there is an access road for two gardens; please enter the garden on the right. This will take you directly to our garden.
