Welcome to Daxberg! Our property is located on a small plateau surrounded by quiet mountain forests at an altitude of 805 meters in the middle of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park. Here you can experience the real dream of country life: lush meadows, untouched nature, and an atmosphere of peace and quiet far away from heavy traffic and mass tourism.
Enjoy a special time on our historic farm with its own small campground. Beautiful grounds, perfect for families. We loved it, but it was a bit crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. It’s a great place for biking, but you’ll need an e-bike or to be in really good shape. Bottom line: we’d love to come back.
Fantastic! We were the only ones there for the first few days. It was completely full during the German holiday. After that, it was a private campground again. Very friendly hosts and staff. Delicious food. Beautiful location. Hiking, biking > top-notch! Really great for kids. Indoor playground, outdoor bikes, tractors, animals, water, etc. Wonderful shower: coin-operated and only one. Options for washing dishes? Emptying the toilet? > minimal. But for us, it’s definitely worth a solid 5! For people who prioritize convenience with showers, toilets, and dishwashing, perhaps not.
A truly wonderful farm campground! The hosts are incredibly friendly and make sure you feel welcome right away. The campsite is beautifully situated and has a relaxed atmosphere. The farm is a real paradise, especially for kids—there’s so much to discover and experience. The stay is rounded out by the delicious food at the restaurant. Highly recommended!
