Forest camping in Franconian Switzerland

On the outskirts of Betzenstein, the smallest town in Franconia, lies - adjacent to our vacation home Forstblick - our newly planted, idyllic meadow orchard with a view of the Veldensteiner Forst.

Parts of the garden and the campfire site of the vacation house can be used by prior arrangement (depending on occupancy). A separate campfire site on the camping meadow is still being built. We will provide you with the firewood :-)

Who was once in the Franconian Switzerland as a guest knows that here no wishes remain open and boredom is excluded. The area is known for its unique, striking rock formations, caves, castles and ruins - and of course for the hearty food and the drinkable beer!

Betzenstein is home to restaurants, a small grocery store and a butcher store. There are numerous possibilities for a varied vacation - for example a round with the mountain bike through the Veldensteiner Forst, a climbing tour in the mountains of the Franconian or in one of the two high ropes courses and afterwards to the open-air swimming pool in Betzenstein. If you still dream of relaxing in a quiet and sunny location and ending the evening comfortably around the campfire, you will find a piece of home here.
