Peace, Nature & Starry Skies ✨ – Your campsite for RVs, campervans, roof tents, and more

➡️ Where foxes and hares say good night to each other – pure nature and tranquility

A secluded spot nestled between rolling meadows and quiet forests, with sweeping panoramic views. Arrive, take a deep breath, and let your mind wander.

➡️ Parking Spot

Nestled among expansive pastures where a herd of cows occasionally grazes, you’ll have the place all to yourselves here—the nearest neighbor’s house is over 150 meters away. The spot is located at an elevation of 550 meters, right next to our rarely used vacation home. We hope you’ll cherish this place as much as we do—as a little break from everyday life.

In the mornings, we often enjoy our first cup of coffee with a view of the valley, where fog sometimes gathers. With a bit of luck, a deer might appear in the grass or a hawk might circle overhead. In the evening, the birds fall silent, and in the stillness, the fox calls.

At night, a sparkling starry sky stretches above you—often so clear due to the minimal light pollution that you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye.

➡️ Amenities

⚡ Private power hookup with Schuko outlets (16 A / 3,500 W), about 25 m from the center of the campsite – up to 10 kWh per day is available free of charge

💧 Well water right at the site for exclusive use (not drinking water, garden hose) – free to use

🛜 Stable Wi-Fi with up to 15 Mbps – for smooth HD streaming or video calls, even on multiple devices simultaneously – free to use

🔥 Permanent fire pit for relaxing evenings on-site (firewood is available on-site for a small fee)

The campsite is located at the end of a former dirt road. Solid and level—quiet and secluded.

➡️ Surroundings

Despite its secluded location, you’re well connected: 17 km to the A93 (Regnitzlosau) and 18 km to the A72 (Plauen Süd). From here, you can perfectly combine nature, culture, and leisure:

• Czech Republic (5 km): Shopping, restaurants, gas stations, markets, and cafés in Hranice and Aš.

• Bad Elster (8 km): Healing springs, saltwater spa, and König Albert Theater

• Adorf (8 km): Botanical Garden & “Klein Vogtland” miniature landscape

• Schöneck (17 km): Ski & Bike World with 260 km of cycling and MTB trails

• Untreusee (27 km): Swimming, water sports, climbing park, mini-golf & beer garden

Hikes start right at the campsite (down the path—please use only this path; adjacent areas are private property). The 14th stage of the “Erzgebirge-Vogtland” ridge trail also runs nearby.

Shopping options can be found in Bad Elster and Adorf; just across the border in the Czech Republic (4 km), there is a restaurant, pharmacy, hair salon, and a Travel Free Shop with a gas station.

🚙 Notes and Directions

Access is via an approximately 200-meter-long, paved uphill path and is easily navigable for standard-sized campervans and RVs.

For larger or lower-slung vehicles (8 m or longer, or classic caravan combinations), access is limited; this site is not intended for such vehicles.

The parking area consists of paved and partially unpaved grassy areas in a natural, agricultural setting. Depending on weather conditions, some areas—especially near the well—may be somewhat softer.

Use of the parking area, as well as entering and driving on the grounds, is at your own risk. The drivability and stability of the surface may vary depending on weather conditions and should be checked on-site.

In case of snow or ice, the access road is not cleared and may be more challenging; a box of grit is available along the path.

Open fires are permitted exclusively in the designated fire pit and only under suitable weather conditions and in compliance with the applicable forest fire danger level.

⚠️ Please note: Tent pegs or ground anchors may only be driven into the ground up to the level of the fire pit. An underground cable for the well water supply runs above this level.

The person responsible is liable for any damage caused by improper use. Otherwise, the statutory provisions apply.

Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to stop by because our camper broke down on the way there. But we'll definitely try again. Promise!
