Teepee Adventures in the Southern Harz: Wilderness & Campfires

You can spend the night in our teepee, which is set up on our large meadow. A truly special experience for young AND old!

Our large meadow (not graveled) is located on the eastern edge of the Southern Harz Mountains, in the heart of the Southern Harz Karst Landscape Biosphere Reserve. If you’ve never seen fire salamanders, carpets of wood anemones, fragrant wild garlic forests, or mystical gypsum caves, you should definitely stop by and stay with us.

Our family-run guesthouse (located outside the village, right in the middle of the forest) is directly adjacent to the over 8,000 m² meadow. So you’ll have plenty of space to yourselves.

We offer you plenty of warmth and hospitality, the diverse song of birds, the gentle murmur of a small stream, stargazing, a warming campfire, a tripod for soup over the fire, spots for grilling and hammocks, and insider tips—not just for hikes on the Karst Hiking Trail.

For an additional fee, we can also provide a bread roll service, homemade jam (from Grandma Jutta), honey from a local beekeeper, water, a shower, a toilet, and electricity.

In our little village, there’s a butcher who also sells butter, pasta, and other items. In the neighboring towns, you’ll find various larger supermarkets.

Oh, and your furry friends are also very welcome here.
